Eiyuden Chronicle Walkthrough Part 5

Part 5 of our Eiyiden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Walkthrough. Main quests included are: Eltisweiss Front, Defeat, Separate Ways.

Welcome to Part 5 of my Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Walkthrough. Part 5 deals with the following main story quests: Eltisweiss Front, Defeat, Separate Ways. Let's get into it! If you've somehow gotten here by mistake, check the "main hub" of the Eiyuden Chronicle Walkthrough.

This is a rather short one... I had to split the walkthrough in a logical way and this segment feels short!

Quest: The Eltisweiss Front

You can upgrade your weapons to Level 4, and buy gear upgrades if you didn't last chapter... But if you've gotten this far, maybe just upgrade the weapons and hold off on the gear. You don't really need 'em in this stretch.

Tell Ymir when you're ready - it's time for your first Army / Large Scale Battle. Amusingly, the tutorial pop-up just refers to this as, "War".

Army Battle: Chapell VS Perrielle

First of all, relax - I don't think you can lose this "tutorial battle" no matter how badly you play or how few your recruits.

One important note is the unit "facing", during the setup. Make sure they're looking towards their opponents. They can only move forward, left, and right from where they're FACING.

Your army units are comprised of your recruits and fillers. Various units have different passive and active skills specific to Army Battles as well as "ranks". I suppose I can make a little guide on this.

As for the battle itself, lol, just go forward and bump into the units to the best of your ability.

Can't be a spiritual successory to Suikoden without this, ey?

Quest: Defeat

Sabine gets locked out of party use - but don't worry about characters "leaving", as you can unequip items and runes via the warehouse. Not just large scale, but you get your first DUEL / 1v1 as well! Man, this really is Suikoden isn't it!?

1v1 Battle: Nowa vs. Seign

Just as you can't lose the army battle. You cant "win" this. But don't sweat it.

Quest: Separate Ways

After some cutscenes you get a bunch of recruits here that “formally” join up as part of the story. All you’ve already run into in the past!

  • Cassandra (First "Support unit". Allows party formation in save points)
  • Kogen
  • Yuthus
  • Zabi
