Eiyuden Chronicle Walkthrough Part 4

Part 4 of our Eiyiden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Walkthrough. Main quests included are: Homecoming, Hometown on Fire, Infiltrate the Empire.

Welcome to Part 4 of my Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Walkthrough. Part 4 deals with the following main story quests: Homecoming, Hometown on Fire, Infiltrate the Empire. Let's get into it! If you've somehow gotten here by mistake, check the "main hub" of the Eiyuden Chronicle Walkthrough.

Quest: Homecoming

You can walk around, but there's no point, Hold off for a little bit for upgrades etc. Re-entering the Inn triggers story progress.

Last reminder for Recruit - Gigina: Haha, sorry, but I have to mention it one last time. I got Gigina here (or the previous quest), although im not exactly sure what the earliest time you can get Gigina is. I suspect it's all the way back at the first wave of recruits. Gigina's at Arenside, left of the entrance.

Mountain Path

Pretty much a straight path through. Only loot is some money, and a Rune of Wind. The "resource nodes" gave me a bit of a laugh. Just randomly trapped bears that give food or meat. Haha.

Save at the Exit.

Kyshiri Village

There's a "point of no return for a while" here, so make sure you do some things first. Don't buy gear upgrades here yet, you'll get the new items at Eltisweiss soon.

  • Get Faded Book, Chapter 2. Talk to the lady in the house at the very end.
  • The quest progresses once you enter Leenes room up the ladder.
  • Before leaving Leenes room, take Red Riding Hood Script in the corner chest.

  • It's not a huge deal missing these right now, but I might as well remind you.

    Quest: Hometown on Fire

A bunch of battles while you escape. I kept trying to backtrack and going into buildings - which lead to a bunch of unnecessary fights. I don’t recommend doing this haha.

After this you need to "Report to Eltisweiss". Go back through the mountain pass, and once you get to the bridge you;’re teleported to town.

    Quest: Infiltrate the Empire

You can now Upgrade weapons at the Smithy weapons up to Level 4. Do so if you can.

There's also new armor to buy. As a general rule, when upgrading armor: SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM MOST ARMOR, then buy upgrades while going upwards. You’ll understand. This process vastly simplified upgrading somehow haha. It isn’t perfect, but you’ll see.

Report back when you're done upgrading, or more likely, when your wallet is done but you aren't.

    Werne Village

The “stealth” mission is pretty straightforward, and nothing happens if you’re caught. You’re pretty much forced to go a certain path, and there’s nothing else to do anyway.

How to get to the big tent!? Annoyingly, you have to start off by running into the soldiers directly to your right to trigger an event BEFORE going around back. Basically, in front of the munitions tent just walk right into the flashlight. This feels like a pseudobug or oversight, haha.

After all this, you're back in Eltisweiss and treated to a training montage. On to the next chapter!
