FFXVI Bygul Hunt Guide: Location, Strategy, etc
Bygul is a Rank A Hunt (Notorious Mark), whose location is offically listed as, "Kritten Hollow, Waloed". You'll need to be at main scenario quest Brotherhood to unlock it.
Bygul Location
Where is Bygul located? Teleport to Ravenwit Walls in Waloed. Bygul is just a short ways northeast from the waypoint. Right on the left of "Kritten Hollow" map text.
Beating Bygul
Bygul, like all "coeurls", moves around a lot, hits hard and fast, but thankfully not too tanky.
Static Torrent: spawns multiple lightning bombs on the ground. Get away from them. Quite a number of them spawn, some nearby and some right below you. Later on, it spawns "rods" that zap lighting in between them.
Whipcrack: Is a powerful lunging strike. Also does many of basic coeurl attacks with lightnign on top. Notably, a double lightning ball, and a circular electric whip.
at 50% Bygul starts using Wild Charge. It's a combination of Static Torrents, lunging strikes, then homing bolts.
Bygul, strangely, doesn't do much damage? The fight gets more hectic as Byguls HP gets lower, but thankfully doesn't hit you as hard as other hunts. Ultimately, Bygul staggers easily, and doesn't have too much HP, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Bygul Miscellaneous Info
On finding Bygul, Clive says: "That's no ordinary coeurl!"
Upon defeating Bygul, Clive says: "Let's hope it was the last of its kind."
Bygul shares a name with one of the cats that pull the chariot of the Norse goddess, Freya (or Freyja). However, this name isn't "official". The cats were originally unnamed, but a modern author gave them names (Bygul and Triegul). It weirdly became popular even if it's "non-canon" so to speak. The names just stuck!
