(Ruin Reawakened) Svarog is a Rank S Hunt (Notorious Mark), whose location is offically listed as, "???". You'll need to be at main scenario quest Things Fall Apart to unlock it.

Where is (Ruin Reawakened) Svarog located? Teleport to Caer Norvent Glorieuse Gate. There's a new path southeast of here. Check the map text "Mornebrume" - Svarog is right there waiting for you.

Beating (Ruin Reawakened) Svarog

SAVE YOUR GAME RIGHT BEFORE THE BOSS. You don't wanna walk back if you die. Did this at L38, it was a welcome challenge. Even at levels a little higher, I'm pretty sure any two attacks will kill you. Let's talk about the abilities first.

Blazing Legion: Slow moving balls in a criss-cross pattern. Don't wait for them - RUN INTO them while dodging to get them "out of the way" asap, as Svarog combines it with other skills.

Laser Breath: Line laser on the ground (initial hit DOES NOT DAMAGE YOU), which eventually explodes on a fatter line. Can be vertical or horizontal. DO NOT PREEMPTIVELY DODGE THIS - wait until you see the direction, then dodge properly.

Red Dawn: A creeping X shape of explosions. Slow and non threatening, you can opt to dodge TOWARDS Svarog. Only becomes a threat when mixed with other skills.

Dive Bomb: Spiralling dive towards you. You've seen it from other dragons.

In-flight Fireball: Basic pewpew while flying. Usually in volleys of 3 or so.

DRAGON DANCE: Fireballs into Laser Breath x2 into Divebomb.

Embroil: Meteor into a slow wave, followed by a bunch of AoE explosions. Dodge COMPLETELY OUT of this.

He has some "unnamed" combos like Blazing Legion, Red Dawn, Lasers.. just imagine that he can do his special attacks in many combinations, haha.

Last Dance: His ULTIMATE move. Blazing Legion into Embroil (this is deadly, run past balls asap), into Lasers.

Aside from this, the usual dragon attacks with claws and bites. Ok lets TLDR the advice:

  • Don't get stay in arena edges. Reset position to center when you can.
  • RUN INTO BALLS, don't wait for the next mechanic.
  • Get free chip damage with magic, and IMPULSE (as much as you can).
  • Dodge lasers once you learn if its horizaontal or vertical - not before.
  • Deadly Embrace into 4x Combo into Downthrust is great.
  • Embroil (Meteor) get out COMPLETELY, secondary explosions will get you.

PLAY SAFE. It's a long fight, gonna need more than 2, maybe 3 staggers. It's a nice fight, and a challenge if you do it ASAP. Good luck!
