FFXVI Severian Hunt Guide: Location, Strategy, etc

Severian is a Rank B Hunt (Notorious Mark), whose location is offically listed as, "North of Sorrowise, Rosaria". You'll need to be at main scenario quest After the Storm to unlock it.

Severian Location

Where is Severian located? Teleport to Martha's Rest Waypoint, and exit west down the elevator. Immediately walk north - he's hanging out in the Northern half of Sorrowise. His official listed location is oddly accurate haha.

Beating Severian

Severian has pretty much the same moveset as any other "Fallen Guardian" enemy type. The main noticeable difference is he SPAMS his "abilities", and rarely does basic strikes.

Eradicate: is his special move which combines the spinning blades with slow moving projectiles.

His ground burst is also special, it does a secondary ring of explosions, so dodge inwards or really get away.

Severian is unusually mobile, erratic, and actually hits hard. Play a little safely if you're wary.

Will-'o-the-Wykes is really good here (it blocks damage, up to 4x if upgraded) so you can ignore him sometimes and get good damage in.

Heatwave makes a great case as well, as his projectiles are easily "countered".
