(The Tricephalic Terror) Gorgimera is a Rank S Hunt (Notorious Mark), whose location is offically listed as, "???". You'll need to be at main scenario quest Across the Narrow to unlock it.

You'll only discover its name, Gorgimera, upon encountering it. Otherwise only the hunt bill title, "The Tricephalic Terror", is your clue to its identity.

Where is (The Tricephalic Terror) Gorgimera located? Northwest of Dalimil Inn, imagine “in between” of the two waypoints (Dalimil Inn and Velkroy Desert). You can see it from very far off. Teleport from the Dalimil side, since there's a ridge that prevents you from going from the Velkroy side easily.

Beating (The Tricephalic Terror) Gorgimera

Save your game before you encounter him, you'll see him from afar. Just to be safe.

Delta Attack: a VERY LARGE ground AoE which has a very delayed explosion. GTFO. Don't try to be fancy just GTFO. Use Phoenix Shift or Lunge if you must. The fire pillar can hit you, be careful.

Delta Force: Multiple Delta Attacks at once.

Three elemental attacks. A fire breath, ice blasts that stay for a very long time, and delayed lightning bombs on the ground.

Dragons Voice: A ring of AoE's wherein the center is safe. followed by Rams Voice: Point blank AoE where the OUTSIDE is safe. Can be in any order.

Also, regular attacks, which are very easy to dodge.

Honestly, Gorgimera was a bit of a letdown. Very easy to stagger, attacks aren't very difficult to dodge. However, getting hit by the Delta Attacks is painful. Ultimately nothing special, though.

Tricephalic means three-headed. It's designed after the mythological creature "Chimera" which has a lion, ram, and dragon head. While typically having a snake for a tail, this one's got a scorpion stinger instead. A classic enemy from previous installments of Final Fantasy. Dragon and Rams voice are a huge nod to FFXIV's Chimera enemies.
