This quest has a prerequisite: Aside from being at the point of the game wherein you can fly, you need to trigger this whole sequence by talking to Serai at any camp. She talks to the group about a potential threat to her people - The Queen that Was. It’s somewhere in the Ceruleum Expanse. She gives you a key item, Joce’s Belt Buckle - an artifact for Teaks.

Listening to Teaks story in relation to this artifact gives you clues on The Queen that Was' location:

• Go to Cerulean Wastes east of Repine in Serai's World.
• Northeast
• Southeast
• Northeast
• East

You’ll then find a Speedball Network entrance which sends you to someplace new. Don’t worry about the warning, there’s a savepoint asap when you get there. Curious about HOW the location is determined? It's in relation to the "good" days as told by Joce in the notebook.

The camp and savepoint are here, as well as a Rainbow Conch on the left. And a basic chest with the Relic: Artful Gambit on the right. When you're ready head on up to the boss.

Boss - Gun Goddess

The bullets, you don’t really have to focus them down... Just make sure to tag them “on the side” with AoE attacks whenever you can. The long lock sequence is “The Shot” which essentially kills one of your party members. Save your Ultimates when bullets are alive, and Conflagrate is again a great option here as they’re all clumped up.

Even without items, this isn’t hard. With item backup this becomes trivial. Some revives and some group healing goes a long way.

If you wanna play on the safe side, just try to deal with bullets asap and chip away at the boss slowly.

After all is said and done, you get Serai's ultimate weapon, Star Shards, as well as bringing peace to Repine.
