FFXVI Ten of Clubs Hunt Guide: Location, Strategy, etc

Ten of Clubs is a Rank B Hunt (Notorious Mark), whose location is offically listed as, "Vamare, Dhalmekia". You'll need to be at main scenario quest Things Fall Apart to unlock it.

Ten of Clubs Location

Where is Ten of Clubs located? Likely, you'll be using The Jaw waypoint (Dhalmekia), then head east into Fields of Corava. In the South / Southeastern part of the fields there's a map marker "Vamare", he's right there.

Beating Ten of Clubs

Ten of Clubs is the typical "fatty axe" enemy type, with two special skils.

Execution: A four hit (3, then 1) frontal combo, with the final one being a jump backwards into a jumping gap closer. You can dodge the first three and smack him a bit, but be careful as he retargets for the fourth.

Peine Forte: Is a simple frontal slam with shockwaves. Dodge this sideways. This one will CC you, so be careful.

His main feature? Fatness. It will probably take 2.5+ staggers to kill him, even with Gigaflare. It's a long battle so don't take unnecessary damage.
