Forbidden Cavern (Present) Sea of Stars Walkthrough Pt.2

Walkthrough & Item Reminders for the Forbidden Cavern parts of Sea of Stars.

Welcome again to our Sea of Stars Walkthrough. This segment deals with the events in the Forbidden Cavern during the present Also a little bit of the area after, namely the Sunglow Lake fishing hole. Finally back for revenge ey?.

"Missable Items" / Important Loot Notes

• SCROLL: Mending Light - New combo for Zale and Valere.
• ARMOR: 2x Adventurer's Vest
• ACCESSORY: Leeching Thorn

Head west into the second room. The puzzle is simple here, step on the left platform until the right one raises. Proceed back into the main room.

Back in the starting room you’ll get LOOT: Adventurer’s Vest. For the second puzzle room, simply step on the right platform, climb up to the chest for the key, then flip the level to lower the platform to reveal the keyhole again.

In the next hallway you’ll see a SCROLL: Mending Light combo! It’s a 2-point combo skill that heals your entire party. There’s TWO treasure chests right next to it on the left for Shiny Pearl, which is essentially something you sell for money. The basket on the right contains Mushroom Soup.

In the next room, cross the rope to get LOOT: Leeching Thorn, an accessory which gives you "Lifesteal". Very useful.

From here you path back into the starting room, then go up north. You’ll eventually find yourself at a savepoint and camp. Save and heal up cause next up is a boss!

Boss - Bosslug

Nothing notable here. Be careful of the double acid spits and the double rock drops… Just a good ‘ol basic first boss.

Remember to enter the hole where the Bosslug came from, haha. It’s a “secret” room with two extra treasure chests, notably another LOOT: Adventurer’s Vest.

OPTIONAL: Sunglow Lake (Fishing)

Welcome to your first fishing hole in Sea of Stars! Generally, you want to visit these as you see 'em. Catching fish gives you an achievement later on, and there are some merchants / items you can get in some of them.

There’s actually a merchant here - you should buy the weapons here, Squire Sword and Copper Staff. You can actually WALK INTO THE WATER and explore fishing holes - a habit you should be getting into. There’s 5x dairy in a basket here at the end.

Next part: Mountain Trail (Present)

In the world map there’s another place you can go but it’s going to be locked. So, off you go to the Mountain Trail - back to where you were before the flashback! Garl reunites with the party and teaches you about the cooking system.
