Walkthrough & Loot Reminders for the Autumn Hills (Mesa Island / Hike) parts of Sea of Stars.

Welcome again to our Sea of Stars Walkthrough. This segment deals with the events in the Autumn Hills, also the short scenes in Mesa Hike at Mesa Island.

OPTIONAL: Mirth

With new plans for buildings in Mirth, there's a few things you can do here, but nothing that's crucial to your adventuring.

Mesa Island / Mesa Hike

To progress the story go land at Mesa Island, and do the short scene at Mesa Hike. Soon after that you'll find yourself at the Autumn Hills.

Keep going, and after you fight your first enemies go the down route first. You get an Oaken Armor here. Go backwards and take the up route. Keep going, after a while you have to grapple toward climbing points - a reminder you can do this I suppose. Drop down to get some maple syrup here. Make your way to the sundial puzzle.

Start off by pushing the ALL the leaves with the Mistral Bracelet - then light up all the nodes. You’ll get a SCROLL: Arcane Moons combo, for Valere and Reshan.

Lighting up both bottom ones reveals a switch. Cross over and enter the cave. There’s an shop here with Ornate Bo, Oaken Armor, and Music Sheet #4. Stuff in this game feels real pricey sometimes, haha. Sell food items if need be.

After the cave, you have to PUSH once of the grapple points - it’s on a pushable block. Get the treasure, Maple Cork, after pushing. Then push it so you can cross over.

Once you have climbed the trees, go up and left and find the Rainbow Conch here. Keep going and eventually you’ll get to the whirlpools.

In the first whirlpool, you'll quickly get back up and find a chest with Recipe: Parfait inside. Eventually you’ll get back to the “surface”, make sure to unravel the ladder on the other side before proceeding. Keep going until you cross some water structures into a cave. From here KEEP ON GOING for quite a while until you climb up to a savepoint and camp.

Once here, pile up all the leaves into the “twig pile” then switch it to night time (you’ll see the rune kind of fill up). This spawns the boss!

Boss - Leadf Monster

You can’t damage it while its leaves are intact. Once it’s exposed you have 2 turns to damage it. Gather up live mana during the covered phase, and blast him while he’s just a piece of wood. Easy. Once you exit, there’s a couple cutscenes…

Before you enter the next area, and I'll remind you on the next page anyway, there's a small somewhat hidden area you can enter in the world map called the Bamboo Creek.
