Bamboo Creek

In the world map, before entering Songshroom Marsh - There’s actually a small area that’s not so noticeable here. Across the fishing hole, there’s an entrance to Bamboo Creek. There’s a chest with Bamboo Slicer here, and a Rainbow Conch in the water.

Songshroom Marsh

There’s a savepoint if you go up, and the path to go forward is at the bottom. Keep going until you reach a beat up “structure”. Go upwards to the grapple point first for a Leaf Cape. There’s really nothing special going on here, up until you reach a legit looking “house”.

In the main room of the house, grapple to your left first to reach a chest with some ore. Then, drop down on the left for Golden Accessory: Spirit of Ninja.

If you’re confused how to proceed, you have to push both boxes into the water, revealing a lever behind them. It raises a platform in the upstairs room so you can access the lever there so you can proceed.

Outside the house, you have to make sure it’s night time to jump on the mushrooms. Now, before going right, and down the ladder check the lower left area. Shine (or don’t shine) the light on the plants to jump on them - they basically have to be “on the same level” for you to jump on them - with finally turning it into night for the last mushroom. Just keep going until you reach the next zone (you’ll see a gate to the south you can’t open yet, so go up instead).

After some cutscenes with Yomara, you can shop, rest, and save here. You should buy more Leaf Cape’s here, as you should already have Maple Cork. Eye of Yomara is also on sale here, if you didn’t buy it at Brisk. Open the gate on the south of the other map to proceed. Behind her house, hidden behind the tree on the right is another Rainbow Conch!

After using Yomara’s Key, you’ll quickly find Question Pack #5 along the way before the sun / mushroom. Keep an eye out for a secret cave after going down the ladder. The entrance isn’t very visible, it’s right next to a “lantern”. You’ll find Shroomy Shivs inside.

Before jumping from the bridge to the cave upwards, continue to cross the bridge into a small cave - it has Scroll: Venom Bomb combo for Garl and Resh’an. Now go back and into the cave with the solstice puzzle and continue on.

You’ll eventually end up entering, and then exiting a small “underground insect base” - you’ll be at a savepoint soon enough. There’s no boss - it’s the world map next. Before entering the castle, go to the cave on the lower left to unlock a much needed shortcut to the Mesa Island docks.
