Dweller of Dread Sea of Stars Walkthrough Pt.38

Walkthrough & Loot Reminders for the Dweller of Dread parts of Sea of Stars.

Welcome again to our Sea of Stars Walkthrough. This segment deals with the events in the Dweller of Dread sequence. There's a few locations here like Clockwork Castle, Mirth, etc...

"Missable Items" / Important Loot Notes

• Portable Wheels Table (need 250g) (Optional)

Lots of cutscenes and travelling here! To start it off, head on over to the Clockwork Castle.

Get all the way in and talk to Cael. There’s a bunch of cutscenes. You regain control in Mirth, and talking to Hortence takes you directly to the Clockwork Castle again. Some more cutscenes again and you’re in control right outside Clockwork Castle.

Now that you're in the Clockwork Castle here though, you might as well talk to the Watchmaker at the top of the Clockwork Tower for the portable Wheels Table. You’ll need 250g so make sure you have it beforehand. Hand it over to the guy in Repine tavern to play wheels there. The Repine champion Wheels game gives Platinum Wheel.

Get back to Sky Base. The teleporter right at the entrance is a shortcut to the Catalyst room. After all this, you’ll have access to a new whirlpool to access the Dweller of Dread.

Infinite Abyss

This is just a short walk to the boss room.

Boss - Dweller of Dread

Start off with some tentacles. Just do a cycle of basic attack into empowered basic attack. Repeat and heal until you proceed to the next phase, the dweller itself.

Like all dweller fights, only boosted Sun and Moon attacks deal meaningful damage. Just kill the tentacles as best you can, while saving powerful skills for the main head.

After this fight and cutscenes, somewhat unexpectedly… Zale and Valere can now FLY in the world map, haha.

After this, in the Fleshmancer's Lair, is the final confrontation. I highly suggest just going there and "beat the game" first - don't worry about side / optional stuff YET.

This includes obtaining the TRUE ENDING - it cannot be done on your first "run", you must beat the game first, then you can continue from there.
