Relink: Wrightstones & Imbuement Guide
Learn all about Wrightstones and the Imbuement weapon subsystem in Granblue Fantasy: Relink!
So you're curious about Wrightstones and Imbuement in Relink? Read on! While it's another layer of RNG, this one is somewhat sane unless you're going for some godly rolls.

Imbuement and Wrightstone Basics
Available at the blacksmith, the Imbuement system allows you to "imbue" a weapon with a Wrightstone, granting various amounts and levels of traits. The traits you get, and the levels of these traits vary quite a bit, with some limitations.
Sadly, once you imbue a Wrightstone onto a weapon - it cannot be "retrieved", and it's stuck on that weapon until you decide to overwrite it with another Wrightstone.
Wrightstone Traits, Possible Trait levels.
To start it off there are four Wrightstone types, each ALWAYS giving a non-RNG "major" trait.
- Vitality Wrightstone: Critical Hit Rate
- Sequestration Wrightstone: Weak Point Damage
- Fortification Wrightstone: HP
- Dread Wrightstone: Stun Power
Next up is the Wrightstone Level. To put it simply, the Wrightstone Level dictates the level of its major trait (Level 10 gives 10 Trait Levels). It also has an effect on the number of subtraits and levels they may have (exact correlation is unknown to me). Basically, the higher the wrightstone level the more powerful it "can" be.
Finally, the possible trait amounts on a Wrightstone. It's basically 10/7/5.
- Main Trait: Max 10 (From Wrightstone TYPE and LEVEL).
- Sub Trait 1: Max 7 (RNG. Higher level, better chances)
- Sub Trait 2: Max 5 (RNG. Higher level, better chances)
What's the best Wrightstone to use?
Vitality Wrightstone (Critical Hit Rate) is considered BEST. Simply because maxing out your crit to 100% is great. The only reason I wouldn't use this is if I have amazing Critical Hit Rate sigils.
Dread Wrightstone (Stun Power) is pretty good. I would use this if I have amazing sub-traits on the Wrightstone, or if I have great Crit Sigils and don't need the Crit Wrightstone.
Sequestration (Weak Point Damage) and Fortification (HP) are BAD. Neither of these traits are relevant, and using one essentially robs you of 10 trait levels. Unless you have some ultra godly subtraits, but this is not a good place to be in...
Best Wrightstone Subtraits?
Ah, well, the same logic to sigils applies. Use the best ones, or the ones you need and want. There's no blanket answer for this, but you should already have an idea of what you might want.
Personally, I think of the subtraits as a bonus. You got useful ones, then good! While Damage Cap supposedly can exist on these, I personally have never gotten it.
I think just settling for decent useful ones like: Drain, Cascase, Quick Cooldown, Guts, Potion Hoarder, Auto Revive... those usual decent effects. Farming for the perfect Wrightstone is DIFFICULT, and you shouldn't think of Wrightstone Subtraits to have a functional build.
Summary, Related Info
Well that's about it regarding Imbuement and Wrightstone in Granblue Fantasy: Relink! Don't sweat the sub traits - trust me. Make do with good Level 10 Crit or Stun Power, and hope for the best.
