Info on the Charger BG3 Feat. Tips, when to use, is it worth it, is it good?

Charger is one of the Feats in Baldurs Gate 3. Here's a short guide on it on what it does (and clarifications), as well as "is Charger good?" "is Charger worth it?".

As per the in-game description: You gain Charger: Weapon Attack, and Charger: Shove..

Charger mechanics clarifications

Gives you access to two skills named in the description. However. What are they?

Charger: Weapon Attack - expends an ACTION AND BONUS ACTION to do up to a 9m dash and Attack the first target hit (+5 Damage Roll).

Charger: Shove - expends an ACTION AND BONUS ACTION to do up to a 9m dash and Shove the first target you hit.

Is Charger worth it?

So, is Charger good? When would you take Charger? No. The resulting "combination" attacks are very rarely useful compared to just a combination of the two skills, haha. But, ignoring Opportunity Attacks is pretty good... just not worth a feat in this case I feel.

Thematically, it's a cool trait for those brawly, berserky, intense type of melee combatant.
