Best Classes for Drow in BG3?

Drow is a good choice for ANY CLASS. It's never a "wrong choice"! Fey Ancestry and Superior Darkvision are pretty amazing for any character.

Drow Weapon Training is very useful to get some proficiencies like Rapier and Hand Crossbow, which aren't too common. Can't go wrong with the basic Shortsword as well.

But if I was to give a straight answer, the best classes for Drow are any class that wants DEX like Rogues, Rangers, Bards, or even Fighters.

Note that there's no right or wrong answer here, haha. There's always a crazy build out there, flavor or RP, or a plethora of other reasons to choose Drow over another with any combination!

Drow in BG3 vs. 5e: Differences

Wondering about the main differences of the Drow race in Baldurs Gate 3 vs. DnD 5e?

No Trance, which makes sense in a solo video game. And oh - no "debuffs" under sunlight. Which makes Drow an amazing choice.

Ultimately Drow is just an all-around great choice for any class in BG3. Can't go wrong with it.

Obviously one of the main blanket changes (I mentioned it above), all races in BG3 get a free +2 and +1 to any two stats of choice, as well as racial stat bonuses being removed.
