Which Tiefling Subrace is best in BG3?

Inevitably this question will always come up! IMO the "best" Subrace for Tiefling is Mephistopheles Tiefling. Why? Well their Cantrip, Mage Hand, is seemingly the most useful, flexible, and "scales" to almost any situation and "level". After that I'd take Asmodeus, then Zariel.

This depends on your goals, of course, but If I had to recommend one, this would be it.

Best Classes for Tiefling in BG3?

Ehh... Tiefling is an "ok" race choice for every class - it's never a "wrong choice" if that's what you're wondering. Mage Hand, and any of the cantrips along with Fire Res are just "Generally ok".

I suppose we should think of it in reverse. "Do I want Mage Hand, or these other cantrips with a certain class that doesn't usually get them"?

Note that there's no right or wrong answer here, haha. There's always a crazy build out there, flavor or RP, or a plethora of other reasons to choose Tiefling over another with any combination!
