BG3 Dungeon Delver Feat
Info on the Dungeon Delver BG3 Feat. Tips, when to use, is it worth it, is it good?
Dungeon Delver is one of the Feats in Baldurs Gate 3. Here's a short guide on it on what it does (and clarifications), as well as "is Dungeon Delver good?" "is Dungeon Delver worth it?".
Dungeon Delver Effects
As per the in-game description: You gain Advantage on Perception Checks made to detect hidden objects and on Saving Throws made to avoid or resist traps. You gain Resistance to the damage dealt by traps..
Dungeon Delver mechanics clarifications
Advantage means rolling two dice and taking the higher roll.
Resistance means half damage.
Only works on rolls related with Traps and Hidden Objects.
Is Dungeon Delver worth it?
So, is Dungeon Delver good? When would you take Dungeon Delver? Not really. It's very niche. Avoiding trap damage and resisting it isn't that relevant if you opt to quickload, lol.
With hidden objects though, this is a cool passive. Slamming this feat on any WIS based character will almost ensure you never miss a hidden object which could be pretty cool for a spoiler / guidefree run. Thematically, this is a cool feat for ranger / tracker / rogue types.
