Is Heavily Armoured worth it?
So, is Heavily Armoured good? When would you take Heavily Armoured? Well, Yes (If you NEED it, you NEED it). If you want a character to wear Heavy, but doesn't have a Proficiency for it - your options are limited. This fixes that problem for these exotic builds.
Now, typically you'd get a race or sacrifice one class level to get the proficiency instead (Fighter, Paladin etc). But if you really don't wanna multiclass just for that - then you have your answer to access Heavy Armor right here.
But then, remember, you need to proficient with medium armor to take this. Overall it's a niche feat, but it exists for the option to get to Heavy Armor somehow.
