BG3 Moderately Armoured Feat

Info on the Moderately Armoured BG3 Feat. Tips, when to use, is it worth it, is it good?

Moderately Armoured is a Feat in Baldurs Gate 3. Here's a short guide on it on what it does (and clarifications), as well as "is Moderately Armoured good?" "is Moderately Armoured worth it?". Armored? Armoured? Who knows.

Moderately Armoured Effects

As per the in-game description: You gain Armour Proficiency with Medium Armour and shields, and your Strength or Dexterity increases by 1, to a maximum of 20..

Has a pre-requisite(s): Proficiency with light armor.

Moderately Armoured mechanics clarifications

Not having proficiency with Armor you're trying to wear is a bad idea. No spellcasting, no proficiency bonus to attacks. It's a no-no.

Is Moderately Armoured worth it?

So, is Moderately Armoured good? When would you take Moderately Armoured? If you really want Medium Armor, then it's still a no, lol. If you really need that extra level for a specific class, typically multiclassing to a class which has medium armor proficiency is a better choice. You only get three feats at most, but many more levels in BG3.

Lets say multiclassing ISN'T an option for you, then I'd likely just wear Light Armor instead! The feat is simply too "costly" for the effect.
