BG3 Ritual Caster Feat
Info on the Ritual Caster BG3 Feat. Tips, when to use, is it worth it, is it good?
Ritual Caster is a Feat in Baldurs Gate 3. Here's a short guide on it on what it does (and clarifications), as well as "is Ritual Caster good?" "is Ritual Caster worth it?".
Ritual Caster Effects
As per the in-game description: You learn two ritual spells of your choice..
Ritual Caster mechanics clarifications
Rituals are "free" spells when used out of combat. You can opt to use the spell in combat, but it will use up a spell slot.
The choices are: Speak with Animals, Speak with Dead, Find Familiar, Longstrider, Enhance Leap, Disguise Self.
Is Ritual Caster worth it?
So, is Ritual Caster good? When would you take Ritual Caster? It's actually pretty good. It's basically the "non-combat / exploration" feat that makes sure you can do and reach most content, haha.
What's nice is, it's all in one feat. You can get Animal Talking and Enhanced Leap, for example, if your party has neither.
Longstrider and Enhanced Leap can be cast pre-combat, so this feat isn't useless during a fight. Having these buffs is very meaningful in a fight!
The problem with this feat is that between all four of your party members, there may be a better way to get any pair of these rituals without haxing to expend a feat.
