These bonuses will apply to any damage and hit chance from the impact of a throw-like attack, or improvised weapon.

Is Tavern Brawler worth it?

So, is Tavern Brawler good? When would you take Tavern Brawler? ITS NICHE. If you ever want to do a throwing based build, this is great. Doubling your Strength modifier on throwing actions (Attack and Damage rolls) is absurdly powerful.

So at 18 STR, you'll gain +8 to chance to hit, and +8 to damage. This is an unheard of level of value.

Again, the only downside is how niche it is. You have to be using Throwing very frequently, which actually isn't that bad.
