Ancients' Oath - Diablo 4 Unique Item

Ancients' Oath is a Unique Item with the following stats and effects:

Ancients' Oath
Unique 2h axe
  • Damage to Healthy Enemies

    • Damage to Close Enemies
    • Vulnerable Damage
    • Damage while Berserking
    • Ranks of Steel Grasp
  • Steel Grasp launches 2 additional chains. Enemies that have been pulled by Steel Grasp take x [30 - 50%] bonus damage from you for 3 seconds.

  • "Weapons wielded by the fiercest warriors often catch the eye of the Ancient spirits. If the wielder is worthy, the spirits may bless the steel with their strength." - Gerti, Oxen Tribe Forgemaster

Ancients' Oath directly modifies: Steel Grasp

Ancients' Oath was added into the game during Diablo 4 Season 0 (Base game release).

    Ancients' Oath Item Stats

Like all Uniques, Ancients' Oath is a little different than your typical item.

Locked Stats: Ancients' Oath will always roll these stats: Damage to Close Enemies, Vulnerable Damage, Damage while Berserking, Ranks of Steel Grasp. Any of these CANNOT be Enchanted off ("rerolled"). They ARE affected by range RNG and item tier. Typically, these stats exceed the range possible for normal non-unique items.

Intrinsic won't change: All copies of Ancients' Oath will always roll with: Damage to Healthy Enemies as it's inherent stat.

Unique Effects: generally have a range. Numeric ones (typically damage) scale by item tier as well (Normal, Sacred, etc). will update to comment on each specific type. Effect Range is, sadly, affected by RNG.

Ancients' Oath will only drop for its class: In this case, Barbarian. I haven't personally gotten an off-class unique, if it does happen - it's probably very uncommon. You can say it's a unique event.

I'll also be updating each unique with general thoughts on
    their power level and usefulness.
