D4 Druid Leveling Guide & Build

Looking to level up quickly and easily? Welcome to our Diablo 4 Druid Leveling Guide! The important most important chunks of info here are:

  • Druid Leveling Notes by Level.
  • Druid Leveling Build by Skillpoint.

This is designed to be used TOGETHER WITH:
D4 General ALL CLASSES Leveling Guide.

I'll be adding other segments during this next beta, like an intro to subsystems, among other things. For now, enjoy!

+/- Buttons and Searching by text isn't implemented yet.

Reminders by level:

During the BETA (and I hope it gets patched by the time we're playing live), Druid was on the weak side. This build COUNTERACTS that the best it can by going ALL IN on Shred, alleviating the low damage problem. It's not perfect, but for the purposes of progression, this is your best bet (Or Terramote
For melee range, Storm Strike is seemingly best. it does too much. Maul is also great (Which we can use later...). If you insist on RANGED, Wind Shear is much better than Earth Spike "by default. Vulnerability, and spirit gain is tough to pass up.
This guide assumes really basic gear and synergies. Given that, Shred is THE chocie for melee, with Pulverize ALMOST getting there. If ranged, Landslide is amazing with the Terramote upgrade. But, for this setup, we're doing Shred all the way.
Although the quest is out of reach for the BETA, Druids can unlock their unique class system, Spirit Boons, at this level.

Since there are so few right now, I'll just make them all visible by default...

Leveling Build by Skillpoint:

My favorite basic skills are this or Maul. It just does so much... damage reduction, vulnerability...
Gives an Immobilize chance - not too great on its own, but we get this for the next node.
On the final upgrade, the dashes are godly mobility. Also, the cone AoE is quite good on this one. Honestly, there are a couple viable choices, this just edges out a little.
Easily proc Vulnerability on a basic skill? That's too godly to pass up.
Faster Shreds and gives a little self healing. Great!
Gives ALL Shred attacks a dash. The first one dashes by default by the way.
A large self-heal. Think of it as your extra potion slot!
Use it more often the more you kill. Why not.
Adds a decent attack speed steroid to Blood Howl, which you can often use.
Pretty useless, but we want the next nodes.
Core skills costs more but do more damage. It's a worth it tradeoff.
An odd choice, but it's worth it for the extra "tanks" IE "distractions" for the enemies. I guess it's optional, but it's well worth the single skillpoint.
Upgrade Wild Impulses to Level 2.
Upgrade Wild Impulses to Level 3.
A single point is enough. Makes spirit costs a little easier on us.
Upgrade Shred to Level 2.
Just a basic travelling skill, and more importantly it breaks CC.
Upgrade Shred to Level 3.
Upgrade Shred to Level 4.
Upgrade Shred to Level 5.
Increase Critical Strike Chance on nearby enemies. Which is most of 'em.
Upgrade Predatory Instinct to Level 2.
Upgrade Predatory Instinct to Level 3.
Honestly, this one is probably the best choice. It's the only one that really helps versus your biggest struggle - bosses.
Gives unstoppable during GR, which is HUGE.
Gives GR a defensive component, which is a stacking Fortify per second.
This was the max during beta. Everything else below is theoretical for now! And more of notes for myself on what I will be getting. Of course, I'll test it when the time comes.
Not implemented yet, but as a reminder, it's available on your 34th skill point.

I will implement a visual limitation on these soon, maybe the previous and next 3 are only shown.

Druid Important Notes by Level (plain text)

Here are the level by level notes presented plainly. Obviously this will expand over time as we can level to max. Note that these are for Druid specifically, and the general notes are found in the general guide.
