Black River (Unique Item)

Black River is a Unique Item with the following stats and effects:

Black River
Unique 1h scythe
  • Life On Kill
    • Intelligence
    • Ranks of All Corpse Skills
    • Ranks of the Hewed Flesh Passive
    • Ranks of the Fueled by Death Passive
  • Corpse Explosion consumes up to 4 additonal Corpses around the initial Corpse, dealing [X%] increased damage and with a [X%] larger radius per additional Corpse.

    Black River was added into the game during Diablo 4 Season 0 (Base game release).

    Black River Item Stats

    Like all Uniques, Black River is a little different than your typical item.

    Locked Stats: Black River will always roll these stats: Intelligence, Ranks of All Corpse Skills, Ranks of the Hewed Flesh Passive, Ranks of the Fueled by Death Passive. Any of these CANNOT be Enchanted off ("rerolled"). They ARE affected by range RNG and item tier. Typically, these stats exceed the range possible for normal non-unique items.

    Intrinsic won't change: All copies of Black River will always roll with: Life On Kill as it's inherent stat.

    Unique Effects: generally have a range. Numeric ones (typically damage) scale by item tier as well (Normal, Sacred, etc). will update to comment on each specific type. Effect Range is, sadly, affected by RNG.

    Black River will only drop for its class: In this case, Necromancer. I haven't personally gotten an off-class unique, if it does happen - it's probably very uncommon. You can say it's a unique event.
