Diablo 4 Season 4 is here! D4 S4 New Aspects | D4 S4 New Uniques

Fields of Crimson (Unique Item)

Fields of Crimson is a Unique Item with the following stats and effects:

Fields of Crimson
Unique 2h sword
  • Critical Strike Damage

    • Damage with Two-Handed Slashing Weapons
    • Damage Over Time
    • Critical Strike Damage
    • Rupture Cooldown Reduction
  • While using this weapon, damaging at least one enemy with Rupture creates a blood pool that inflicts [X] Bleeding damage over 6 seconds. Enemies standing in the pool take 30% increased damage.

  • "We've been fighting these flesh-eaters for so long, been soaked in so much blood, that after a while it's difficult to tell what side you're truly on." - Daelyr, Crane Tribe warrior

    Barbarian

Fields of Crimson directly modifies: Rupture

Fields of Crimson was added into the game during Diablo 4 Season 0 (Base game release).

    Fields of Crimson Item Stats

Like all Uniques, Fields of Crimson is a little different than your typical item.

Locked Stats: Fields of Crimson will always roll these stats: Damage with Two-Handed Slashing Weapons, Damage Over Time, Critical Strike Damage, Rupture Cooldown Reduction. Any of these CANNOT be Enchanted off ("rerolled"). They ARE affected by range RNG and item tier. Typically, these stats exceed the range possible for normal non-unique items.

Intrinsic won't change: All copies of Fields of Crimson will always roll with: Critical Strike Damage as it's inherent stat.

Unique Effects: generally have a range. Numeric ones (typically damage) scale by item tier as well (Normal, Sacred, etc). will update to comment on each specific type. Effect Range is, sadly, affected by RNG.

Fields of Crimson will only drop for its class: In this case, Barbarian. I haven't personally gotten an off-class unique, if it does happen - it's probably very uncommon. You can say it's a unique event.

I'll also be updating each unique with general thoughts on
    their power level and usefulness.
