Greaves of the Empty Tomb is a Unique Item with the following stats and effects:

    • Movement Speed
    • Essence Cost Reduction
    • Lucky Hit Chance with Shadow Damage
    • Damage Reduction from Enemies That Are Affected By Shadow Damage Over Time
  • Create desecrated ground beneath your Sever spectres as they travel, damaging enemies for [X] Shadow damage over 2 seconds.

    Greaves of the Empty Tomb was added into the game during Diablo 4 Season 0 (Base game release).

    Like all Uniques, Greaves of the Empty Tomb is a little different than your typical item.

    Locked Stats: Greaves of the Empty Tomb will always roll these stats: Movement Speed, Essence Cost Reduction, Lucky Hit Chance with Shadow Damage, Damage Reduction from Enemies That Are Affected By Shadow Damage Over Time. Any of these CANNOT be Enchanted off ("rerolled"). They ARE affected by range RNG and item tier. Typically, these stats exceed the range possible for normal non-unique items.

    Intrinsic won't change: All copies of Greaves of the Empty Tomb will always roll with: Max Evade Charges as it's inherent stat.

    Unique Effects: generally have a range. Numeric ones (typically damage) scale by item tier as well (Normal, Sacred, etc). will update to comment on each specific type. Effect Range is, sadly, affected by RNG.

    Greaves of the Empty Tomb will only drop for its class: In this case, Necromancer. I haven't personally gotten an off-class unique, if it does happen - it's probably very uncommon. You can say it's a unique event.
