Penitent Greaves (Unique Item)

Penitent Greaves is a Unique Item with the following stats and effects:

    • Crowd Control Duration
    • Slow Duration Reduction
    • Cold Resistance
  • You leave behind a trail of frost that Chills enemies. You deal [12 - 15%] more damage to Chilled enemies.

    Penitent Greaves was added into the game during Diablo 4 Season 0 (Base game release).

    Penitent Greaves Item Stats

    Like all Uniques, Penitent Greaves is a little different than your typical item.

    Locked Stats: Penitent Greaves will always roll these stats: Movement Speed, Crowd Control Duration, Slow Duration Reduction, Cold Resistance. Any of these CANNOT be Enchanted off ("rerolled"). They ARE affected by range RNG and item tier. Typically, these stats exceed the range possible for normal non-unique items.

    Intrinsic won't change: All copies of Penitent Greaves will always roll with: Dodge Chance While Evading as it's inherent stat.

    Unique Effects: generally have a range. Numeric ones (typically damage) scale by item tier as well (Normal, Sacred, etc). will update to comment on each specific type. Effect Range is, sadly, affected by RNG.

    Being a "general" unique, it (THANKFULLY) will still only drop for classes that can actually "use" or "trigger" its effect.

    I'll also be updating each unique with general thoughts on
    their power level and usefulness.
