Waxing Gibbous (Unique Item)

Waxing Gibbous is a Unique Item with the following stats and effects:

  • Damage to Healthy Enemies
    • Critical Strike Damage
    • Damage to Close Enemies
    • Damage to Injured Enemies
    • Spirit on Kill
  • Gain Stealth for 2 seconds when killing enemies with Shred. Breaking Stealth with an attack grants Ambush which gaurantees Critical Strikes for [1.0 - 2.5] seconds.

    • The nights preceding the full moon are sometimes far more dangerous than the event itself. The frenzy has begun to rise, yet the night is just dark enough to obscure a hunter from their prey's sight.

    Waxing Gibbous was added into the game during Diablo 4 Season 0 (Base game release).

    Waxing Gibbous Item Stats

    Like all Uniques, Waxing Gibbous is a little different than your typical item.

    Locked Stats: Waxing Gibbous will always roll these stats: Critical Strike Damage, Damage to Close Enemies, Damage to Injured Enemies, Spirit on Kill. Any of these CANNOT be Enchanted off ("rerolled"). They ARE affected by range RNG and item tier. Typically, these stats exceed the range possible for normal non-unique items.

    Intrinsic won't change: All copies of Waxing Gibbous will always roll with: Damage to Healthy Enemies as it's inherent stat.

    Unique Effects: generally have a range. Numeric ones (typically damage) scale by item tier as well (Normal, Sacred, etc). will update to comment on each specific type. Effect Range is, sadly, affected by RNG.

    Waxing Gibbous will only drop for its class: In this case, Druid. I haven't personally gotten an off-class unique, if it does happen - it's probably very uncommon. You can say it's a unique event.
