Writhing Band of Trickery is a Unique Item with the following stats and effects:

  • Resistance to All Elements
    • Critical Strike Chance
    • Critical Strike Damage
    • Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies
    • Maximum Life
  • Casting a Subterfuge Skill leaves behind a Decoy Trap that continuously Taunts and lures enemies. The Decoy Trap explodes after 3 seconds dealing [X] Shadow damage. Can occur every 6 seconds.

    • The ring shifts and spins on your finger as the forces within desperately attempt to escape.

    Writhing Band of Trickery Item Stats

    Like all Uniques, Writhing Band of Trickery is a little different than your typical item.

    Locked Stats: Writhing Band of Trickery will always roll these stats: Critical Strike Chance, Critical Strike Damage, Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies, Maximum Life. Any of these CANNOT be Enchanted off ("rerolled"). They ARE affected by range RNG and item tier. Typically, these stats exceed the range possible for normal non-unique items.

    Intrinsic won't change: All copies of Writhing Band of Trickery will always roll with: Resistance to All Elements as it's inherent stat.

    Unique Effects: generally have a range. Numeric ones (typically damage) scale by item tier as well (Normal, Sacred, etc). will update to comment on each specific type. Effect Range is, sadly, affected by RNG.

    Writhing Band of Trickery will only drop for its class: In this case, Rogue. I haven't personally gotten an off-class unique, if it does happen - it's probably very uncommon. You can say it's a unique event.
