BG3 Durable Feat
Info on the Durable BG3 Feat. Tips, when to use, is it worth it, is it good?
Durable is one of the Feats in Baldurs Gate 3. Here's a short guide on it on what it does (and clarifications), as well as "is Durable good?" "is Durable worth it?".
Durable Effects
As per the in-game description: Your Constitution increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. You regain full hit points each time you take a Short Rest..
Durable mechanics clarifications
Short Rest will usually restore half of your total HP.
Is Durable worth it?
So, is Durable good? When would you take Durable? No. The only niche scenario I'd take this is if your CON is at an odd number. Even then, there might be better feats for this purpose like Resilient.
The other effect, gaining full HP on short rest is really mediocre. It's a welcome boost, and can save you some potions or spells over time, but will almost never be something you would long for.
In 5E this had much more applications since it modified incoming healing to become a MINIMUM of your CON modifier x2. This sadly didn't make it into BG3... yet.
