Hello guise! Here we talk all about the Best Necromancer Speedfarming Builds. Since we plan to modernize all classes’ “best speed farming builds” to accommodate ALL SETS, I guess Necromancer speedfarming builds would be where to start, eh?

If you’re not using Avarice + Boon of the Hoarder, we got some notes for each build.

Necromancer Speedfarming builds ALL SETS

Keep note these are all generic build “templates”, that should be quite obvious for you to tweak regarding your needs. They’re tuned to be tested at Torment VIII, then work your way upwards.

What difficulty Should I farm on?

It can only be determined by YOU, and what YOUR GOALS are.
A good progression to try is 6 > 9 > 11 and adjust from there.

“Hey man, this one guy has a TXIII Build, wtf”Ancient weapons (and everything else), high gem levels and augments make this possible. Do not be stupid and simply inject yourself into TXIII Rifts with garbage tier gear. Speed > Difficulty – you don’t get style points for farming above efficiency level.

Find what’s right for you. Neph in 5 minutes is a great starting point. Not all builds can perform at the level of Unhallowed Essence DH or WoL Monk. But even those builds get heavily punished for farming too high up.

Which set farms the best?

Oh boy… that’s hard to answer.

“Most” people would convert their favorite build into a speedfarmy version – it makes sense since it is the set they’ve tryharded the most on – for Necro this is viable since all sets can speedfarm well.

If you want my thoughts on every set, well… Each set is very difficult to measure. They certainly have their ups and downs for different difficulties and types of content.

I’ll write a little more about this as I speedfarm with each set. Try ’em out for now.

But if you held me at gunpoint and asked me?

Inarius > Trag’Oul’s = Rathma > Pestilence

Each section contains:
– Build for that set
– General insights on the build

Necromancer: Trag’Oul’s Speed Farming Build

Trag’Oul’s Speedfarming Build
Items   Skill & Rune
Head Trag’Oul’s Guise Corpse Lance Blood Lance
Shoulder Trag’Oul’s Heart Death Nova Blood Nova
Chest Trag’Oul’s Scales (Open) Bone Armor Thy Flesh Sustained
Wrist Nemesis (Reaper’s) Blood Rush All
Hands Trag’Oul’s Claws Devour Cannibalize (Devouring Aura)
Belt Goldwrap (Open) Frailty Aura of Frailty
Legs Trag’Oul’s Hide Passives
Boots Trag’Oul’s Stalwart Greaves Dark Reaping Life from Death
Neck Hellfire (Open) Blood for Blood Overwhelming Essence
Ring Unity (Open) Kanai’s Cube
Ring Avarice Band Trag’Oul’s Corroded Fang
Main Reilena’s Shadowhook Nemesis (Reaper’s)
Off Lornelle’s Sunstone
Legendary Gems
Bane of the Powerful
Bane of the Trapped (Molten Wildebeest’s Gizzard)
Boon of the Hoarder

Important Note: Oh man… fun but at a steep cost…

This build was a ton of fun. It’s very powerful too BUT… man… You sometimes can find yourself extremely low due to the high health cost of Death Nova. I specifically placed Molten Wildebeest’s Gizzard as an option counteract this. If you’re more used to the build, you can try Trapped (that change alone should bring you up 1 torment level).

This build skims the very thin line between “speedfarming” and “dying constantly”. Be humble when settling on a difficulty. Lornelle’s Sunstone (and less stylishly, Unity) helps with your defenses greatly.

Necromancer: Inarius Speed Farming Build

Inarius Speedfarming Build
Items   Skill & Rune
Head Inarius’s Understanding (Open) Grim Scythe Cursed Scythe
Shoulder Inarius’s Martyrdom (Open) Corpse Lance Blood Lance
Chest Inarius’s Conviction Bone Armor Harvest of Anguish (Any)
Wrist Nemesis Bracers Blood Rush Potency (Metabolism)
Hands Inarius’s Will (Open) Decrepify Opportunist
Belt Goldwrap (Dayntee’s) Frailty Aura of Frailty (Any)
Legs Inarius’s Reticence Passives
Boots Inarius’s Perseverance Dark Reaping Overwhelming Essence
Neck Wisdom of Kalan (Open) Stand Alone Final Service (Open)
Ring Brigg’s Wrath (Open) Kanai’s Cube
Ring Avarice Band Trag’Oul’s Corroded Fang
Main Reilena’s Shadowhook Steuart’s Greaves, Aquila Cuirass (Open)
Off Krysbin’s Sentence
Legendary Gems
Bane of the Trapped
Bane of the Powerful
Boon of the Hoarder (Wreath of Lightning)

Important Reroll Note: Bone Armor% rolls from Chest and Shoulder.

The Inarius speedfarming build is actually pretty good. It’s brainless, fast and can be made quite durable. I’m honestly surprised how powerful this turned out. The 6 piece bonus is literally A FREE AND POWERFUL DAMAGE AURA. It works well with Frailty and Devouring Aura.

The main downside of this set is the rather short range of bonestorm, and the large “variance” between the killing speed of whites vs elites (there’s not much you can do to speed up the process). If you want to kill elites faster, there is the option of abusing Corpse Lance + Corpsewhisper Pauldrons + (optionally) Land of the Dead.

I want to speedfarm with: Trag’Oul’s | Inarius | Pestilence | Rathma

Necromancer: Pestilence Speed Farming Build

Pestilence Speedfarming Build
Items   Skill & Rune
Head Pestilence Mask Corpse Lance Visceral / Shredding
Shoulder Pestilence Defense Bone Spear Teeth
Chest Pestilence Robe Land of the Dead Invigoration
Wrist Nemesis (Reaper’s) Blood Rush Potency (Metabolism)
Hands Pestilence Gloves Devour Devouring Aura (Voracious)
Belt Goldwrap (Open) Bone Armor Harvest of Anguish
Legs Pestilence Incantations Passives
Boots Pestilence Battle Boots Dark Reaping Life from Death
Neck Hellfire (Open) Bone Prison Serration
Ring Avarice Band Kanai’s Cube
Ring Obsidian (Open) Scythe of the Cycle
Main Maltorius Petrified Spike Reaper’s (Nemesis)
Off Krysbin’s Sentence
Legendary Gems
Bane of the Trapped
Bane of the Powerful
Boon of the Hoarder (Zei’s Stone of Vengeance)

Important Note: This build setup above is OVERCAPPED on Essence recovery and you can adjust accordingly. I suggest a Topaz on helm to start off.

*Gonna have to rewrite this. Found a better build. But all you need to know is that Pestilence is better with Scythe of the Cycle and Bone Armor

I want to speedfarm with: Trag’Oul’s | Inarius | Pestilence | Rathma

Necromancer: Rathma Speed Farming Build

Rathma Speedfarming Build
Items   Skill & Rune
Head Rathma’s Skull Helm Bone Spikes (Open) Blood Spikes
Shoulder Rathma’s Spikes Skeletal Mage Life Support (Singularity)
Chest Rathma’s Ribcage Plate Devour Devouring Aura (Voracious)
Wrist Nemesis Bracers Blood Rush Potency (Metabolism)
Hands Rathma’s Macabre Vambraces Command Skeleton Dark Mending (Frenzy)
Belt Goldwrap (Open) Frailty Scent of Blood
Legs Rathma’s Skeletal Legplates Passives
Boots Rathma’s Ossified Sabatons Grisly Tribute Extended Servitude
Neck Hellfire Amulet Spreading Malediction Dark Reaping (Open)
Ring (Open) Kanai’s Cube
Ring Avarice Band Shadowhook (Corroded Fang)
Main Jesseth Skullscythe Tasker and Theo
Off Jesseth Skullshield Circle of Nailuj’s Evol
Legendary Gems
Enforcer
Bane of the Powerful
Boon of the Hoarder (Bane of the Trapped)

Important Note: The Singularity rune on Skeletal Mage is a huge upgrade in DPS which removes some element of “brainlessness” to the build. You need to manage Essence depending on the difficulty of content.

The Rathma Speedfarming build is great! However it requires the most button presses… BUT it’s an extremely powerful and “safe” build due to pets, and Grisly Tribute.

I personally think its the most flexible of the lot in terms of you wanting to neph, GR, bounty or whatnot.

Trying this without Circle of Nailuj’s Evol SUCKS.

I want to speedfarm with: Trag’Oul’s | Inarius | Pestilence | Rathma
