Ancient Forest Camps: Locations & Unlocking

  1. Southwest Camp (1)
  2. Northwest Camp (8)
  3. Northeast Camp (11)
  4. Ancient Forest Camp (17)

Ancient Forest – Southwest Camp (1) comes as the default camp, instantly unlocked.

Ancient Forest – Northeast Camp (11)‘s location is one you CANNOT MISS and is unlocked automatically as you progress the story.

Ancient Forest – Northwest Camp (8)‘s is an OPTIONAL/UNLOCKABLE CAMP which requires delivering 2x Iron Bone and Ancient Bone. There’s a video link right down there, plus a text box of further notes (if it’s even needed.)

Location & How to find Northwest Camp (8)

From Southwest Camp (1) (I’m only using “auto” unlocked camps as baseline points)

  • Walk ALL the way north and I mean it, but specifically…
  • After spawning, go left into the narrow pass and continue northward.
  • Upon reaching the waterfall room, there are 3 exits in the north end here, proceed towards the one closest to “true north” up the rocky slope.
  • You don’t want to go to the large room on the left. just keep going north until you reach climbable red and green vines.
  • on the northern part of this platform there’s a crawlspace. Get in there and unlock the camp!

Ancient Forest – Ancient Forest Camp (17)‘s is an OPTIONAL/UNLOCKABLE CAMP which requires delivering Anjanath Pelt and Monster Bone L. This is really near the “Dragon Roost”, but can still easily be missed. Describing this by text is pretty silly – watch the video link.

Wildspire Waste Camps: Locations & Unlocking

  1. Southwest Camp (1) (Auto)
  2. Central Camp (6)
  3. Northeast Camp (15)
  4. Eastern Camp (11)

Wildspire Waste – Southwest Camp (1) comes as the default camp, instantly unlocked.

Wildspire Waste – Central Camp (6)‘s  is an OPTIONAL/UNLOCKABLE CAMP. I’ll add a video soon but check the box for text instructions for now.

Location & How to find Central Camp (6)

Go to Area 6. It’s quite a large area on the north side of the map.

The entrance to the camp is located on the southern side of Area 6. On the “mountain”.

It’s roughly a little east of the middle of the mountain. Simply drop down the crevice with vines and you’re there!

Detailing how to get to Area 6 is pretty much not needed since there’s roughly 3 billion ways to get there.

Wildspire Waste – Northeast Camp (15) is an OPTIONAL/UNLOCKABLE CAMP.  I’ll add a video soon but check the box for text instructions for now.

Location & How to find Northeast Camp (15)

You can summrize a mega chunk of the first steps by “GO TO THE LARGE DESERT AREA IN THE UPPER RIGHT FIRST!”. It doesn’t matter which camp you start from – as long as you keep going north and east you’ll get here soon enough.

Once here you want to get to the northernmost rock face, roughly in the middle.

You’re looking for a small hole to jump into – It’s slightly right of the middle of these rocks – once there the camp should be very intuitive to get to.

Wildspire Waste – Eastern Camp (11)‘s location is one you CANNOT MISS and is unlocked automatically as you progress the story. (Unless I’m mistaken…)

Coral Highlands Camps: Locations & Unlocking

  1. Southern Camp (1)
  2. Northeast Camp (12)

Coral Highlands – Southern Camp (1) comes as the default camp, instantly unlocked.

Coral Highlands – Northeast Camp (12) is an OPTIONAL/UNLOCKABLE CAMP. You have to unlock it via bounty delivery requiring Tzitzi-Ya-Ku Hide and Monster Bone M. It’s extemely hard to miss as discovering the location is part of your main quest.

Location & How to find Northeast Camp (12)

It’s very easy to imagine this as “going to area 8 first“. Area 8 is quite easy to get to, so hopefully I don’t need to guide you specifically (or watch the vid). From Area 8, you have two options:

  1. Climb the TALL vine wall to your east (right – this is Area 12), then proceed to the left path once you get up there (that skinny pathway is where you wanna go).
  2. Go to Area 10 by proceeding north, then make a U-Turn towards that skinny pathway (which is where you want to be).

Roughly in the middle of this skinny pathway you will see a crawlspace on your East. Get in there and that’s the camp!

Rotten Vale Camps: Locations & Unlocking

  1. Southeast Camp (1)
  2. Central Camp (11)

Rotten Vale – Southeast Camp (1) comes as the default camp, instantly unlocked.

Rotten Vale – Central Camp (11)‘s location is one you CANNOT MISS and is unlocked automatically as you progress the story. (Unless I’m mistaken…)

Feel free to chime in but I remember both of these camps being spoonfed to you.

Elder Recess Camps: Locations & Unlocking

  1. Southern Camp (1) (Auto)
  2. Eastern Camp (8)
  3. Northwest Camp (16)

Elder Recess – Southern Camp (1) comes as the default camp, instantly unlocked.

Elder Recess – Eastern Camp (8)‘s is an OPTIONAL/UNLOCKABLE CAMP which requires delivering 2x Barnos Hide+ and a Monster Bone+ to unlock.

Location & How to find Eastern Camp (8)

Head to area 3 first! In the southeast side of area 3 (it looks like you’re going to Area 4) DROP DOWN.

Once you’re down on this platform (this is area 8), you can see another downward drop – DON’T TAKE THIS – instead if you look on the eastern wall there is a crawlspace. Get in there and that’s the camp!

Elder Recess – Northwest Camp (16)‘s is an OPTIONAL/UNLOCKABLE CAMP. That may or may not be accessible to you ASAP when you get into Elder Recess (I don’t remember if the blocked paths prevent you from getting here early on).

Location & How to find Northwest Camp (16)

From the default camp (Southern), you wanna slide into the crystal caves to your right once you exit the camp.

From here you can just keep going north to Area 8 -> 9 -> 14.

Once you STEP INTO AREA 14 – do a quick U-Turn and you’ll see a crawlspace amongst crystals – get in there.

The camp entrance should be very obviously on your right from here.

Alternatively, after exiting southern camp you can go thru the lava route Area 8 -> 11 -> 12 -> 16 and you’ll see the camp on your left once you enter area 16.

THERE ARE MANY MANY PATHS TO GET TO EITHER AREA 12 OR 14 (these are the areas you can access the camp from). IF YOU HAVE TOO MANY BLOCKED PATHS TO GET HERE – PROGRESS WITH YOUR STORY FIRST!
