Here’s a rather short guide on the Street Brawler Perks Tree. Here you’ll find a list, tierlist, attribute requirement, shortened description about each perk, and a short blurb about why each perk is “good, bad, or something in between”. Here goes!

Overall, the Street Brawler perks buff up blunt weapon damage and utility. It has two notable subthemes – stamina management, as well as bonuses to stunned targets. Well, it’s not really an exciting perk tree but it gets the job done. I suppose it matches the weapons it’s representing. Straight up blunt force trauma cave-man style.

Street Brawler is joined by Athletics and Annihilation in the Body attribute tied Perk trees.

Ratings?
  • A: Mandatory, or exceptionally powerful perks for your build. “It would be weird not to take this if you have the prerequisites”. Rarely irrelevant or, inversely a godly lynchpin of a more niche build.
  • B: Great perk that you’ll almost always take if relevant to your build, that’s either very strong in many scenarios or core in a few playstyles.
  • C: Simpler perks that give “fair” bonuses. Typically unexciting or too niche. You still aren’t sad to invest into these if your build wants it.
  • D: Too niche, too weak, or both. You’d be hard pressed to invest into these even if it synergizes with your build. I’d rather take other utility perks than these.
  • F: Trash tier perks. Either broken, exceptionally weak or exceptionally niche. Quite simply you’d almost always invest in something else.

Street Brawler Perk list rundown / viability / analysis

[A] Crushing Blows (Body 1): Increase strong attack damage with blunt weapons. Absolute god-tier. This increases your one-shot potential. You would much rather be doing strong attacks vs combo on most blunt weapons.

[A] Thrash (Body 15): Strong attacks with blunt weapons reduce the targets armor by 30% for 10s. Well, if they survive that is. Armor reduction is insanely powerful for DPS gains. I mean, the armor shred stays even when you switch weapon!

[A] Frenzy (Body 15): Defeating an enemy increases damage with blunt weapons by 100% for 10s. Doubling your damage, even for a little while… If that isn’t an A tier perk I don’t know what is.

Regarding “stamina management perks” you only need “some” of them.
Keep in mind that each one you take makes the others somehow worse.

[A] Efficient Blows (Body 5): Reduces the stamina cost of all attacks with blunt weapons. While a simple perk, this is actually 100% efficient in what it does. Reduces the cost of each attack means you’ll get the benefit every time!!!

[B] Opportune Strike (Body 8): Increases damage against stunned opponents with blunt weapons. HUGE bonus for something that’s likely going to happen anyway.

[B] Dazed (Body 4): All attacks with Blunt weapons have a 15% chance to apply Stun. Stunning enemies helps both damage mitigation (they don’t hit you), and your own DPS (you hit them easily). It also enables the stun based perks!

[B] Unshakable (Body 18): Successful attacks with blunt weapons against stunned enemies restore health and stamina. Every little bit of health gain is welcome. Even if you don’t need the stamina, you’ll want the healing effect.

Stamina perks are totally dependent on your full build. You might depserately need stamina until your build matures (at which time you can respec them out).

[B] Reinvigorate (Body 10): Defeating an enemy with a strong attack with blunt weapons restores stamina. Another great stamina perk if you’re in the market for another one. This one is also 100% efficient as the trigger is upon enemy death!

[B] Payback (Body 10): Increases damage with blunt weapons which scales more with health you’re missing. Given the playstyle, you’re going to get a lot of mileage from this. It’s actually one of the most powerful perks per point spent. However, the condition isn’t exactly a friendly one. Never sad to take it, though.

[B] Flurry (Body 1): Increases combo attack damage with blunt weapons. You’ll probably want to get it at some point. It’s not bad, great when wailing on downed foes.

[B] Rush (Body 5): Regenerate a small amount of health for 2 seconds after attacks with blunt weapons. Every little bit of survivability counts!

[B] Guerilla (Body 20*): Increases crit damage by 60% for 10s after entering combat. I mean, it’s powerful, but crit damage is a weird stat for this tree. It’s a decently powerful effect, enough for the tail end of B-tier but weirdly unexciting compared to some of the L20* perks.

[C] Relentless (Body 12): Successful attacks with blunt weapons against stunned enemies restore stamina. I mean, it’s not a bad stamina management perk but it might be overkill?

[C] Juggernaut (Body 4): Increases armor while blocking with blunt weapons. Not too bad. There are a few “absolute desperation” scenarios where I would want this, but they are few and far between. Cute.

[D] Human Fortress (Body 8): Reduce stamina cost of blocking with blunt weapons. I mean, if you block often – sure… But block based gameplay… ain’t really where you want to be I guess.

[D] Breathing Space (Body 12): Increase stamina regen while blocking with blunt weapons. Ehh… a poor stamina regen perk. I mean, it’s ok but meh… The actual scenarios in battle where this perk makes a difference are almost non-existent.

Summary and Closing

Well, the Street Brawler perk tree is as basic as basic gets. Blunt damage, stamina regen to keep going, and stunning to keep them still. I really don’t know what else to say about this “blunt” “straight forward” perk tree, but it gets the job done.

Well that’s about it for a list of Street Brawler perks – hopefully you enjoyed our tierlist of these perks to help you decide what to get for your build! Check out our tierlists on the other perk trees in Cyberpunk 2077!
