Hey guys! Welcome to our Demon Hunter’s Natalya’s Vengeance Set Dungeon Guide. Here we will talk about what build to use, skills, items, notes, map and more! Note that since their release, set dungeon were NERFED and are much easier to complete. Anyway, let’s get to spiking.

Last updated: S28 Mar 03 ’23: The set was reworked completely, and to my surprise so was this set dungeon. So naturally, this guide was reworked as well! It’s a lot easier now…

Help! I can't use those skills because they're from the same category! (Turn On Elective Mode)

If you’re not allowed to put two skills on your bar because they’re from the same category – FEAR NOT! This isn’t a bug or a permanent in-game restriction. You simply have to CHECK ON ELECTIVE MODE, via Esc > Options > Gameplay > Elective Mode!

Binding Force Move to Mousewheel up & down is a value change that every player should make IMO. It prevents misclicks and skill misfires, and forces you to move to where otherwise an enemy might be.

Options & Notes:

We’re not going for a build that plays like how natalya “should”, but a build that’s made purely to clear this set dungeon as easily as possible. Even given that, the set dungeon is so easy you only need the basic of the basics. The only items that even approach being core are Chanon Bolter, Demon’s Demise, and Trag’Ouls Cois. Maybe Yangs Recurve? Honestly you don’t even need more than 1 of these IMO.

Ideally, you’d want Natalya 6 + Crimson 3 (using RoRG if needed). Again, this set dungeon is so easy I gave many options for Reduced Resource Cost, or Dawn to maximize Seethe… I’m pretty sure this is doable with raw Nat 6 and yellow items.

You only need enough power to one-shot whites, and quickly kill elites. Also, only enough defense not to get killed easily. So many of the items are purely optional. After you have this level of power, just cram in as many “make life easier” options in your build as possible.

Natalya’s Set Dungeon Location & Map

Where is the Natalya’s Set Dungeon?

  • Teleport to waypoint Wortham Cellar ACT I (it’s the lower rightmost waypoint)
  • Zone out! The exit is on the lower left.
  • Natalya’s Set dungeon entrance should be right there as you exit!

How to Beat & Master Natalya’s Set Dungeon

Don’t worry, this one’s a breeze.

Map & Pathing

Familiarize yourself with the map first. A sample path is shown above.

  • The map is pretty much one big room.
  • Complete half of it, following the upper edge stopping at the leftmost tip.
  • Make your way back following the lower edge.
  • Once you reach the breakpoint, hopefully you’ve done the RoV objective.
  • Not done? CONTINUE, as checking the “fingers” might break the “chain”.
  • Done? Kill any stragglers, if any, you’ll have a ton of time.

Objectives, Tips, Notes

The simple and small map is a huge reason why this dungeon ain’t so bad.

Objective: Detonate Spike Trap 300 times.

This one “completes itself”, and in fact the more careless you are the better, “wasting” spike traps on 1 or 2 and not trying to get maximum clump value.

If you’re insanely powerful and you think you might beat the set dungeon before this completes – simply detonate traps on nothing until you clear this.

If your build is a little weaker on the power level side, then don’t worry – it will actually HELP you naturally complete this.

Objective: Do not exhaust your Hatred!

This objective was designed with the previous Natalya’s set mechanics in mind. In this current iteration I find it impossible to fail.

In the suggested build, I have Strafe as an easy way to detonate traps, while you CAN hold it down the entire time with the right setup, you can simply tap it to detonate.

Captain Crimson, Yangs, Zodiac, Hexing Pants, Leorics Crown (Topaz on head) – these are the optional items off the top of my head that will help you here if you needed it. Which I doubt. Notable Yangs Recurve is an “easy out” for this, if you have it.

Many of your skills help with this too like Preparation – Punishment, Companion – Bat, and your Blood Vengeance passive.

Natalya Set Dungeon – Summary and Closing

In the end there’s really not much to say about Nat’s set dungeon. It’s one of the least stressful set dungeons and you shouldn’t take more than 2 or 3 tries!

In a nutshell the reworked set and set dungeon are incredibly easy. With even NO or minimum setup, you should master easily. The build listed above, with as many of those items as you have crammed in should do it.

  1. I did this set with a total of 76.71% Cooldown reduction and held rov the entire time. Just go slow until you get your 90 seconds rov then use only rov the rest of the move with smoke screen and any other speed boost, besides strafe (uses hatred),to complete the kills within the time limit and not run out of hatred.

  2. Awesome help with all your guides.
I altered a bit and took illusionary boots along and the ring of royal grandeur. This really helped a lot on those blockers.

  3. The wife is now totally hooked on D3! She’s looking to play a DH for the first time in S12. Your guide to the seasons Natalya set is the best, most straight forward, easy to understand I’ve come across! This is REALLY going to help us both as I intend to run a Monk (not amuck…lol) for the first time as we team up once we reach Fresh 70. Looking forward to the results! TNX

  4. I really need help big time! I did everything you told me here, I don’t have any legendary games and any of the Kanai’s Cube abilities, I do have an Obsidian Ring so I equip that, the ANY equipments well I have anything there, skills and paragon are like you told me (I have like 170 paragon tho) and I still can’t do this, if I use Dark Cloud I’m not killing anything at all! if I use Shade I kill more but I struggle to keep RoV up and yes I’m using Companion, Concentration, Vengeance and I’m not wasting any of the Hatred it provides, I use them at the last second but there’s always a moment where everything is on Cooldown and I’m either gonna run out of Hatred or RoV is gonna end and it’s still on Cooldown, any tips? Please?

    • Ouch… no Cindercoat? That’s gonna be a huge downer. The LGems are easy to get, Gogok will help you, and Wreath if you need the movespeed. This dungeon isn’t about speed, it’s about PATIENCE and stretching that RoV as much as possible “while aiming to kill”.
