Help! I can't use those skills because they're from the same category! (Turn On Elective Mode)

If you’re not allowed to put two skills on your bar because they’re from the same category – FEAR NOT! This isn’t a bug or a permanent in-game restriction. You simply have to CHECK ON ELECTIVE MODE, via Esc > Options > Gameplay > Elective Mode!

Binding Force Move to Mousewheel up & down is a value change that every player should make IMO. It prevents misclicks and skill misfires, and forces you to move to where otherwise an enemy might be.

Speed Farm Build – Notes

Element%? Furious Charge inherits the element of your rune, but Physical % is considered the safest choice – why? It synergizes with another popular skill for these kinds of builds – Ancient Spear-Boulder Toss. So if given a choice, you may as well prepare for it.

Start off with the baseline, and get greedier as you gain power: I cannot see everyone’s power level and know their goals with speed farming, however, it’s a smart idea to start off with the baseline and grow to add more perks and greed from there.

Best spender with Focus and Restraint? The short answer is Ancient Spear-Boulder Toss, but for some builds that won’t use this (for more brainless play… after a certain power level you really don’t need it) Rend-Mutilate is best as the animation isn’t so bad, and it has some synergy. It’s also cheap so it won’t deactivate Berserker Rage for long.

In the end, the set is very versatile –  tailor it to your needs. The information above should give you a pretty good idea on what your options are. Like I said, I can’t account for everyone’s power level and goals – but this should be a great start!

*Envious Blade seems to be a good addition, I will admit I haven’t tested it myself but it shouldn’t be bad! You maaaay want to remove Wreath of Lightning, though.

Bounties? Build Changes?

Raekor 4, by nature, is great at covering distances. There are only 2 main evolution you can do to practically improve this (both already listed as options above):

In-geom: allows you to charge infinitely through dead space. It’s something…

Chilanik’s Chain: For more movespeed. Synergizes well with In-geom.

You can also try something like double wielding In-Geom and Envious (ANY), cubing Standoff – The build leverages all the suggested weapons. The downside is a considerably loss of base damage when compared to equipping a 2H Weapon.

GR Speed & Gem Leveling? Build Changes?

Speed farming of course could also mean speed running GR’s for EXP or gem levels. This affects our build in some ways. For the purposes of GR’ing, use the second tab as a baseline, because Sage’s Journey won’t work in GR’s!

Primarily this means letting go of the Goldwrap combo (Avarice, Boon of the Hoarder).

You may also need to bolster your defenses:

Boulder Toss (and Skular’s Salvation) is one of the obvious choices to increase power. It really does well healing you with Life per Fury Spent (which can be found on mighty weapons and mighty belts), as sustainability is a weakpoint of R6. If you’re using Boulder Toss, remove Berserker Rage.

Going Raekor 6 (or Raekor 4 IK6) is of course THE option when pressed for power, however this treads on a non-speedfarm discussion.

  1. Everything I’m finding says that kanai powers and items do not stack, what’s the point of having the skull grasp item and kanai power?

  2. Hey there, big thanks for this guide. Gems aren’t mentioned though, I was wondering which one I should use. I’m guessing obviously Green on weapons and Blue on helm, but what about chest and legs pieces ? Blue for AR or Red for Str ?

  3. Hi there. With regards to the IK6 speed farming build, how do you have the skills list mapped onto a mouse button? (i.e. only 1 of those, whirlwind, works on my right click. I can’t activate any of the others on my left)
