Done leveling your Necro to its Fresh Level 70? You wonderin’ what to do next? Well… Look no further. You’ve found “it”. Here, you’ll find how to get your free set ASAP and transition smoothly into the endgame.

In Season 22, Necro free set is Masquerade of the Burning Carnival.

Season 22 and YOU. How does it affect?

Well, let’s not beat around the bush. The fourth Kanai’s Cube slot is the ultimate buff here. Sure, the Pylons spawning a certain kind of “shadow clone” is cool and exciting in its own way… But when it comes to pure POWER, a fourth Kanai’s slot is probably the strongest ever buff we’ve had!

It doesn’t really help early on, but as you gather more and more legendary effects it will help you out quite a bit. In the end-game, this is, at the very least, a 20/30% power spike to your character.

THIS SEASON IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT. WHY? Read on
Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Haunted Visions – the amulet you need and deserve

Masquerade of the Burning Carnival, this seasons free set, DOES NOT FUNCTION WITHOUT THIS AMULET. Haunted Visions allows your Simulacrums to last forever, among other things, but that point is of the foremost importance.

Any and all of the set’s bonuses rely on Simulacrum. With a 120 second base cooldown and a 10-15 second duration you can imagine that not having any of your bonuses up for over 90% of playtime is, well, garbage.

Haunted Visions acts like the “7th piece” of the set. There is no other set out there with such a blatant reliance on a non-set item than this. With that being said…

You should not pursue the free set, or even wear any pieces of it
UNTIL YOU GET HAUNTED VISIONS.

Temporary Setup: Build, Goals, and Haunted Visions

So, with that in mind, we will proceed in a different way. You need to advance simultaneously keeping all these aspects in mind: Legendary Gems: Legacy of Dreams, Equipping all legendary Items, Build Evolution, and Getting your Haunted Visions.

How to get Haunted Visions?

Random Drop: This is what you’re hoping for, but don’t get your hopes up. Basically, you’re going to do all your setup activities and hope this simply drops for you. If you’re “done” with the setup and this hasn’t dropped, try Death’s Breath.

Death’s Breath: This one is pretty alright. While 25 Death’s Breath per attempt seems bad, it’s quite reliable. If you’re at the end of the line when it comes to your temporary setup build – this is where you’re going to be. Spam upgrades until you get it.

Blood Shards: With the harsh cost and low percentage of snagging it, this is not the place to look for it. Save your blood shards to just get random Legendaries in slots you don’t have one yet. Avoid amulets with BS, and only fish for rings if desperate.

At ANY POINT. And I’m serious here. At ANY POINT, even if you find it after 2 minutes reading all this and barely scratched the surface of your temporary Legacy of Dreams build… Just stop what you’re doing and PROCEED WITH THE TRANSITION PHASE detailed below.

LoD Bone Spear Your Temporary (flexible) Build

LOWER THE DIFFICULTY. Farm QUICKLY.

Socket TOPAZ into your helm as you’re gonna need some help with Essence. (Craft Reaper’s Wraps too, more on this later).

No Corpse Lance? Hmm… I’d rather you farm quickly on a difficulty that you can use Devouring Aura, than struggle on a Difficulty that NEEDS Corpse Lance, as these two skills conflict with each other too much.

I will mention build adjustments if you get some of the important items a few segments down.

Rerolls?

Rerolls? Since it’s expensive and difficult to Legendary items early on (we will be using Legendaries to power up LoD), I’ll only list the absolute CORE ones.

  • LpH on weapon (or good Amethyst on weapon socket)
  • Remove ALLRES rolls for ARMOR rolls.
  • Remove trash stats (CDR, AS, non-Bone Spear%, ALLRES)
  • Take good ones (INT, VIT, Crit-related, Armor, Life%)

Legendary Gems: Legacy of Dreams

Spam nephs then do GR’s (do ’em fast, no need to try hard) and get as many gems and keys as you can. Luckily, you get LoN and BoP (Bane of the Powerful) quickly. You only need to keep them at L25 for now.

Legacy Of Dreams is the core to this temp build. Basically, you cannot equip any active set bonuses, but the tradeoff is you become more powerful and tanky per legendary item equipped. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT GEM IN YOUR TEMPORARY BUILD.

Other gems?

Bane of the Powerful is a basic gem giving you some DPS and some defenses. Other DPS gems like Trapped only exceed this at much higher gem levels. This one “caps” at L25.

Moratorium is the best early game defensive gem for you. Some manner of Life per Hit is needed to maximize it, so make sure to have a few LpH rolls on your gear lying around.

Don’t bother leveling any other gem for now.

Legendary Items to look for (for now)

Crafting an early Reaper’s Wraps hits two birds with one stone – helping out with RESOURCES and giving you +1 Legendary for LoN.

Your first 25 DBsRandom slots - BS?Random slots - DB?

Your very first 25 Death’s Breaths should be used to upgrade a 2H Scythe.
Any result you get will vastly improve your build!

  • Reilenna’s Shadowhook: No change in base build.
  • Maltorious’ Petrified Spike: No change in base build (Use Bone Spear – Shatter).

The above two are both needed in the final build (Shadowhook can be changed to something like Corroded Fang, but that’s beside the point). Again, I stress that resources (Essence) can be a pain so please remember Topaz and Reaper’s.

  • Bloodtide Blade: Use Death Nova – Unstable Compound.
  • Nayr’s Black Death: Use Death Nova – Unstable Compound, and change Bone Spikes rune to Bone Pillars.

Drag Templar along with you. You can benefit from the healing and resource generation he provides.

Use blood shards and random drops to fill up the rest of your “blank spots”. Of which the highest impact item you can get is Gelmindor’s Marrow Guards. That’s final true core item. Aside from that, there are a few useful ones you should be happy to get.

Should you use Death’s Breath to complete your random pile for LoN? Hmm… I’d guess not. Unless there’s a certain slot you REALLY can’t get thru pure bad RNG, I’d avoid it.

I would prefer you use excess DB’s to upgrade Amulets to get Haunted Visions.

How do I know I’m “done” with the temporary phase?

This segment gives you an idea on your “progress” towards this temporary setup phase, and when you should just tunnel on farming your Haunted Visions ACTIVELY, instead of passively.

You have 3x Legendary gems at AT LEAST L25: Legacy of Dreams, Bane of the Powerful, and Moratorium. BONUS: Keep leveling them up, prioritizing LoN.

Item progress?

Have a legendary equipped in all slots: Each piece, even a “junk” one, contributes to your power level via the LoN gem.

BONUS – having some or all core legendaries: I’ve listed them in the previous tab. You only really need THREE “absolute core” items. Reilena’s Shadowhook, Maltorius’ Petrified Spike, and Gelmindor’s Marrow Guards. Having other useful filler (while many) is not something you should hunt for (as they’re unlikely to make it in your final build) and not worth the resources you should, instead, channel into Haunted Visions.

Here’s what you should do “while” or even if you’ve “reached” a practical cap of power.
Farm 25 DB’s > Upgrade Amulet > Haunted Visions? Proceed to transition.
No Haunted Visions? > Repeat.

Got Haunted Visions? Transition phase begins

I’ll repeat what I said up there.

“At ANY POINT. And I’m serious here. At ANY POINT, even if you find it after 2 minutes reading all this and barely scratched the surface of your temporary LoN build… Just stop what you’re doing and PROCEED WITH THE TRANSITION PHASE.”

Here, we assume YOU HAVE HAUNTED VISIONS, essentially TRIVIALIZING obtaining the 6pc bonus. Keep in mind your LEGACY OF Dreams isn’t active if you equip even 2pc’s of the set. Hell, you don’t even need to wear the set if you don’t want to. But, IMO, once you hit 4pc bonus + Haunted Visions, drop your LoN setup.

BuildGoals to rush thru

Here’s the build you should be using for this transition phase, only changing it once you hit the transition phase. With ONLY Haunted Visions, this build becomes power so whether you’re at 0, 2, or 4pc Masquerade – this is the build you want.

S22 Fresh 70 Necromancer 2/4pc Masquerade
Skill Rune
Grim Scythe Blood Scythe
Bone Spear (Death Nova)
Shatter (Unstable Compound)
Blood Rush Potency
Simulacrum Blood and Bone (All Active)
Frailty Aura of Frailty
Devour Devouring Aura
Passives
Stand Alone
Overwhelming Essence (Open)
Final Service (Open)
Dark Reaping (If using Scythe)

Topaz on helm, and use whatever fillers you gained in the process. You lose Bone Armor in this build so be a little careful. Stack defense if you need to.

Again, you don’t need to update your build at all if you don’t want to (if you were unlucky and spent a long time powering up). But if you DO have Haunted Visions, adding Simulacrum and Grim Scythe into your build is a good idea no matter what.

Press Shift+J to open up your Seasonal Journey tab and fulfill them as needed.

Again, if you feel powerful enough (some people will spend differing amounts of time powering up before getting Haunted Visions), you don’t even need to change your “temp build”.

Get the 2pc (1st Haedrig’s Gift): EZ. The build works well for 0pc. This might as well be done without you even trying.

Get the 4pc (2nd Haedrig’s Gift): EZ. Once you have the 2pc, you gain all runes of Simulacrum which is crazy. Blast through this.

Get the 6pc (3rd Haedrig’s Gift): Haunted Visions, Grim Scythe, and Simulacrum should be able to carry you. It’s up to you whether you need to update your build to use the 4pc, or stick to your temp LoN build. It should be easy, either way. If you got Haunted Visions really early, and you’re a little weak, you can easily gauge your power once you hit the Torment IV entries.

You shouldn’t have any trouble here as we assume you do have Haunted Visions.
It’s powerful enough to carry with the LoN raw build, or with the 4pc set.

Well, hopefully your Vision wasn’t so Haunted and you’ve finally reached the end of the tunnel more quickly than you’d hoped. If RNG shafted you, don’t worry as you’d have gained a lot of power either way.

FROM HERE OUR GOAL IS TO GAIN POWER FAST. The next logical steps are Legendary Gems, and being mindful of the good items you need to find.

Keep in mind the important rerolls I mentioned at the start of this guide. Also, before you proceed, here’s a preview / reminder/ of items you need to look for.

Core items preview - look out for these!

Ring Krysbin’s Sentence Good

As implied, these are the items that are core, or important, to your build. I talk more about how to obtain these later on – remember to keep these in mind always.

At the very bottom of this guide, you can preview what a good base template build is for items / skills / passives to get an idea what you’re going for.

Powering Up: Legendary Gems

Your next step after getting your 6pc is Legendary Gems. Why? LGems are a huge power spike relying on very little RNG. Simply spam Neph -> GR until you get the three gems you need and power them up to 25.

Masquerade Main useful gemsOther useful gems

Bane of the Powerful is a cheap AF gem that only really needs L25 to be useful. It’s a great temp gem that gives DPS and defense that will last a long time.

From here, I like 2x Defensive Gems!
It’s hard to increase toughness this early on.

Moratorium is the best early defensive gem. You have lots of random self-healing in your build due to your Simulacrum runes, and a bit of LpH.

Esoteric Alteration is a great defensive late-game gem, but I don’t really like the other early-game defensive options so you can rush straight into this one.

-Want more DPS?-

Bane of the Trapped eventually replaces one of the defensive gems, or Powerful depending on what you need. But defense will be an issue for a long time, and you need a highly leveled Trapped for it to be worth it. Stricken is up next…

You can use these temp gems to augment, anyway, so don’t worry about it.

Bane of the Stricken – is the go to LATE GAME DPS Gem of choice. Its main use is shortening your Rift Guardian time (and helping out vs yellow elites).

Esoteric Alteration – is probably the best defensive gem in the game, and is worth having a strong one around.

Boon of the Hoarder – is used in many speedfarming builds alongside Avarice Band.

Again, Legendary Gems are a massive priority given their NON-RNG powerspike. Just having three useful gems at 25 will allow you farm a few torment levels higher.

Powering Up: Important Items & How to Get Them

Of course, any build will need a couple (or more than a couple) of items to round out. Here, I list down what items you’re looking for, and how best to get them using various currencies and means.

Core items preview - look out for these!
Item Slot Item Name Priority?
Bracer Gelmindor’s Marrow Guard Core
2H Scythe Maltorius’ Petrified Spike Core
Belt Dayntee’s Binding High
Ring Unity High
Ring Ring of Royal Grandeur Allows Cpt Crimson
Belt Cpt Crimsons Belt Needs RoRG
Legs Cpt Crimsons Legs Needs RoRG
2H Scythe Reilena’s Shadowhook One or the other
1H Scythe Trag’Oul’s Corroded Fang One or the other
Ring Krysbin’s Sentence Good

As implied, these are the items that are core, or important, to your build. I talk more about how to obtain these later on – remember to keep these in mind always.

At the very bottom of this guide, you can preview what a good base template build is for items / skills / passives to get an idea what you’re going for.

Blood ShardsDeath's BreathRings and AmuletsThe Classics

Here’s advice on how to spend your blood shards with Kadala, roughly in order of importance.

Belt – Dayntee’s Binding: is an EXTREME defensive item. Since your Simulacrum applies ALL CURSES at once, the combination of this plus Decrepify is an astounding amount of both direct and indirect defense. This is amazing and if you want survivability this is first.

Bracer – Gelmindor’s Marrow Guard: is a titanic DPS boost. Up to 4x damage for one item – “We take those”. In this pile, you also get the much welcome Nemesis for speedfarming.

There’s nothing else you want or even remotely close to “core”. There’s fillers here and there, though like Requiem Cereplate, Leoric’s Crown (+Topaz)

Here’s advice on how to get your weapons from Death’s Breath rare item upgrades, roughly in order of importance.

If, for some god forsaken reason, you’re here without getting a Haunted Visions yet, use DB’s to upgrade Amulets to get one.

2H Scythe for Maltorius’ Petrified Spike. The Essence cost increase hurts, but it is what it is. It’s 700% damage. 7x. That’s huge. You can also get another possible late game contender in Reilena’s Shadowhook.

1H Scythe for Scythe of the Cycle or Trag’Oul’s Corroded Fang. Either of these, IMO, is better than Shadowhook. Scythe of the Cycle is obviously the more powerful variant, but requires Bone Armor to be squeezed into the build (not really a bad thing).

Scythe of the Cycle requires QUITE A BIT OF BUILD PLANNING for it to work out completely. RCR, a good way to spread curses… I’m not entirely sure it’s easy for a midgame build to utilize this without huge sacrifices.

As long as you have Maltorius Petrified Spike, you can experiment with whatever “other weapon” you want. Each one has its ups and downs. But in terms of actual raw damage, Cycle > Fang > Shadowhook. Ease of use? Shadowhook > Fang > Cycle.

Rings and Amulets are tough to get from either BS or DB’s (due to the large amount of possible outcomes), but if you’re done getting your core items from them – and you haven’t got your core accessories, it’s a viable way to spend them.

Ring of Royal Grandeur (obtained from Act I bounty caches) is a “semi non-RNG’ way to vastly power up your build. This allows you to wear 2 pieces Captain Crimson (crafted gear) in order to activate it’s 3 set piece power. This gives RCR, CDR, Toughness, and Damage. It’s literally everything you need.

Unity. Look, I don’t want to get into calculations, but just having Unity in your build reduces damage taken by around (by my rough calc) 92.7% with just 2x Simulacrums, your 4pc set bonus, and Unity. That’s insane. However, you will need another Unity for your follower, plus the Immortality relic.

Krysbin’s Sentence is your DPS ring of choice. There are many ways to trigger the “triple damage” clause, but even without it – the “slowed” DPS bonus is huge enough. Do not even think of CoE this early on, as Krysbin’s vastly outperforms it. You’d only want CoE in place of Unity if you’re an absolute mad man.

You don’t want ANY of the accesory sets. FnR or Endless Walk are junk for this build simply because you need too many accessories, or too many accessories far outperform them.

Haunted Visions if you’re reading up to this point and you still don’t have it… I don’t know what to say. Always remember that I love you.

Typically you’ll just find these as you grind, as they can be difficult to obtain with currency…

This is just a list of your “all-around” items that may or may not be mentioned previously. While I do not take set-specifics in this tab, it serves as a seasonal reminder (and helpful general list for newbies) on what’s “generally good”.

Reaper’s Wraps: A Crafted legendary whose plans drop from any Torment Malthael (and is oft mentioned in our Fresh 70 guides), any NON-RNG boost to power (in this case, resource generation) is welcome. MOST builds can benefit from an early Reaper’s.

Nemesis Bracers: An absolute monster for increasing rift clear speed (and a little extra death’s breaths!), newer players might not value this as highly – try it out and you’ll be surprised.

Unity: Used alongside another Unity on your follower (plus their unique “Cannot Die” relic) essentially halving all damage you take for one ring slot, that’s usable for any character. Not bad.

Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac: Core on many builds, but usable for any build that spends resource. It’s a unique source of “in-combat” CDR that would give you 100% uptime on skills you couldn’t otherwise achieve. It’s pretty crazy.

Focus+Restraint: If you can trigger both halves of the set bonus, and don’t mind losing defenses from rings – this is will “more than double” your DPS.

Traveler’s Pledge + Compass Rose: Another accessory set, this one is more suited for “elite killer” builds that like to travel in between packs, and face-tanking builds that tend to stay still while DPSing. It’s not very universal, but it can reasonably benefit any character.

Convention of Elements: Literally, any character can use this ring. It’s a titanic boost in DPS (especially for builds that have tons of short-duration buffs… LINE THEM UP!).

Ring of Royal Grandeur: -1 set item requirements to help you fit random core or filler legendaries to help your build out. While absolutely necessary on some builds, most builds can benefit from this using “generic” legendaries for a temporary power boost (IE Aquila Cuirass).

Avarice Band + Boon of the Hoarder (+Goldwrap): the gold farming speedy holy trinity. While you don’t really need all three all the time, this combo allows you to speed through and survive ANY difficulty (careful, this doesn’t improve DPS!).

The above is the baseline template for a fully functional 6pc Masquerade. It’s not heavily optimized for pushing GR, but more of a speedy farming slant. It’s a great place to be in, as you adjust the build to your needs!

Season 22: Masquerade Fourth cube slot?

Fourth cube slot can be any of the following…

Honestly, triple weapons is where it’s at. Maltorius, Shadowfang, and Cycle is CRAZY (even Shadowhook). Even The Furnace is fine if you don’t want to think or edit your build.

There’s really not much else. You can have an extra defensive ring in the form of Lornelle’s Sunstone or something? What other defensive options can you use?

Bridging to the End-game

So you skipped a whole chunk of the powering up phase with the free set. Now what? Like I always say, “Speedfarming first before pushing GR’s”. So, convert what you have NOW to be as speedfarmy as possible, first.

It’s highly likely you’ll transition into a PURE speedfarming build. If so, check out:

  1. Great guide! I appreciate the detailed steps for leveling up the Necromancer. The tips on gear and skills really helped me optimize my build. Can’t wait to try out the strategies in my next run!

  2. Hey, sorry if the question was already answered, but what do we use the Taeguk for?
In every source I could find online it was said that the the gem doens’t work with blood syphon. Was it reworked?

  3. This was an awesome guide. I started as a beginner completely new to this game and in a month of casual playing I’ve acquired everything in the guide and am now paragon 500. My question is, I’m currently hitting a limit at GR 60 and I’m wondering if I should continue to improve my gem rank/start augmenting/obtain ancients OR if I should start going into other builds. If so, are there any recommendations or guides for hitting GR90 (somewhat comfortably).

  4. Hi, i wanna ask, on the guide it says to get % army fo the dead on shoulders/chests, but its actually impossible to get that affix right now, i double checked with d3planner

  5. Hi, I know the comment thread is pretty old, but I have a quick (and hopefully) easy question.

I’ve used this guide from level 1 to 70 (w/ +60 paragon) and it worked beautifully!, Thanks very much!

Throughout this page (Necromancer fresh level 70 guide), the Land of Dead runes listed actually belong to the Army of the Dead spell. Did I miss something, or is this page referring to an earlier patch?

Thanks again for the awesome guide and I’m loving my 6-piece Rathma set.

  6. What would you recommend for off hand after getting the amulet if the main weapon is 1h Scythe of the Cycle? since there is no bone armor (cold rune).

  7. Thank you for this clear and very well laid out guide. Aside from the LoN/LoD confusion (which a quick google search resolved) I was able to start my journey towards building the masquerade set in a fun and enjoyable way.

  8. HI

i am still farily new – but there doesnt seem to be a legacy of nightmare gem but that is a set right ?
do I get that or do i get the lehacy of dreams gem ?

    • Oh boy… HC is a different animal… I hate that your main enemy is against the server. Basically I would add more defense than I would usually – and add the free death passive.

The main advice? If your free death is down, play safe or GTFO.

IDK, the topic of HC is a complex one…

  9. In the setting up portion you first say allres is useless so get armor but then a few paragraphs down you say the opposite. So which is it?

  10. It took me forever to find you guys have a DFans build for a gearless 70 necro. Please update this page with a secondary gearless guide like you have for the other classes for other people to have an easier time. Otherwise your guides have been pretty great so far, more fun builds than icy-veins.

  11. Thanks for work you do, thanks to your guides my wife and I have noth been able to get our season sets and have ideas on where to go next. Keep up the great work!

  12. Hi
Thanks alot for the starter build, I used 2 guides before this one to get the pieces I needed, got them after a bit of struggle but this helped a great and awesome deal for starting Grifts. And ofc speedfarming, and not to mention the guides for the set dungeons, you guys are truly awesome!!! Thanks a bunch the Grace of Inasrius set was exactly like stated brainless. The demonhunter one was challenging but still got it thanks to the awesome guides and maps with routes provided!!!

  13. Thank you for the guide, it helped me, and not only to follow the prescribed steps, but to start figuring out some bits for myself. I’m a casual player, my non-seasonal paragon is only 123 or so.

    I have two questions.
How high my thorns amount must be for starting out with 4-piece set, striving for 6? I have 12350 now, is that ok to start with and what’s an okay amount to have in the process?

About trag’oul – I got myself a surprisingly nice pieces of free set, I mean, a lot with armor, which is good for trag’oul, one piece has death nova percent… but how should I reroll the secondaries on it? Should I eliminate all the resistances it has? Should I roll for sockets? Thorns? etc.

    Thanks again

    • try upping your thorns (at least while you’re completing the free set) to around 50k minimum. Get them for your secondary stats for now… Sockets for head (to put in yellow gem for more thorns) and weapon for that added armor.

      • I want to tell the story of how it was for me after all. Didn’t want to reroll for Thorns on my trag’oul pieces having a little experience on which stats will I use/need after the season.

After all, starting from TI-II it wasn’t easy in terms of dmg. I haven’t got a lot of great legendaries to cube/use on char and materials to upgrade rares (and I have an issues with disconnects, so that is really not helping to do challenges). No Reilena’s, no Bloodtide, no Trag’oul’s fang – I had no dmg. I ended up not using much Thorns and not adjusting my build for them, but I had Heart of Iron which raised its number to ~21k I think, which is near to the number you have in the guide, and I couldn’t see how raising it can improve my speed with Golem I used for corpses tanking the mobs a lot. After all, relaying on thorns dmg takes more time (for mobs to hit you) I think, and time is luxury in GR.

I had a lot of armor and previously cubed Aquila cuirass and Lornelle’s sunstone, which gave me the ability to survive anything pretty easy – as you’ve said in your guide, it was really a defense overkill. But I had no dmg = no speed for pushing GRs. Of course, there’s Spreading malediction + frailty, but it wasn’t enough and it’s useless against standalone bosses like rift guardians, which can just ruin GR run in the end because of the time you’ll need to wipe RG in the end. And I had to come up with something else.

So when I found Thunderfury, it was at least something – I cubed it immediately which helped me with packs and speed. I had Lost Time in off-hand, and Devil’s tongue (leg wit no special effect on it but good stats), on which I rerolled AD% to socket and inserted highest emerald which gave me an additional 90-100k dmg which was a real save there.
And after that I found Oculus ring – chance to create an area of power on monster kill which raises dmg by 73% while standing in it. I already had better jewelry, but thankfully I figured out that it works on follower too, so I gave it to Kormack. It was a final stroke to my improvised build 🙂 Imagine what was like playing it 🙂 I doubt that all that jumping would go well without blood rush.

So thank you again, your guide inspired me to go for it and search for resolving seasonal goals with what I had in hands, almost literally 🙂 Got my 6 piece, wings and frame.

  14. Maybe a stupid question. But how would you recommend to geht rid of the corpses? In the full set build there is no corpse consuming skill.

  15. TeamBRG, TeamBRG… jus’ wanna shout out for an excellent guide.

I jumped into the season waaaaay late and Rhykker pointed me towards your build guides. I used it along wit a couple others for reference, but once I hit 70 & started amassin’ the starter set, I found your guide the best of the bunch. And while I had crafted Reapers & cubed the RoRG I got, it was the closin’ remarks of the “Necro Fresh 70 Rathma 4 piece GR 20” section that spurred me on to some of the most fun I’ve had in DIII. Period. As Craig once posited, “…but peer pressure is a MF’er.”

So, some 8 gameplay hours after dingin’ 70, seven (7) GRifts, countless deaths and a whole lotta learnin’ ’bout DIII & the class lata, my Necro has claimed the 6-pc Rathma’s.

And how was the diligence to finish it “raw” rewarded? A legendary version of the chest dropped on the killin’ blow AND I got regular versions of the iconic Jesseth set along the way.

Thanks for the guide… thanks for the motivation… but most of all thanks for the great fun I’m havin’ in DIII as a result.

    • Wow, thanks for the very kind words MrXzavy! Helpin’ people out is our goal, after all!

On a side note “completing it raw” has been a point of pride for me and princess. It has been done for every class, and ever set, even when the community at large said it was impossible. Peer pressure is a MF’er indeed!
